That is Leonard Nimoy as Spock saying ‘Pure Energy.’
I believe that’s DeForrest Kelley as Bones saying “It’s worked so far but we’re not out yet.”
Leonard Nimoy’s (Spok) son was either a friend or fan of the band. That is how they got permission to use the voice clip “Pure Energy”
Exactly..From the Season One Episode, From a line in the Episode "Errand Of Mercy"..He Was referring to the Entities Of Organia, That got so advanced, that they became Sentient beings of,Like Spock Said,"Pure Energy"!
I think “Destruction “ is Captain Kirk as well. So for those of us who were watching Star Trek reruns in the 70s and 80s this song just caught us in a perfect nostalgia wave
@@bryanzimmerman8646 It's actually Richard Tatro as Norman the android from I, Mudd. Spot on about the nostalgia!
This song was big in the clubs back in the 80's
Yes, and definitely “Running” ❤
This song was on the radio constantly back in 1988 even the soul station that only played soul music played it ☺
Entertainment Weekly called Information Society Minneapolis’s answer to Erasure.
this was highly requested when I was a DJ in the 80's
This was late 80s synth pop. Very popular in clubs.
I danced to this a lot in the late 80s. I was already in college around 1988/89 when this was playing on the radio. I also like their song, Peace & Love Inc.
"It's worked so far, but we're not out yet" at the beginning of the song is DeForest Kelley - Dr. McCoy on Star Trek, the "Pure Energy" statement is Leonard Nimoy - Spock, the song was included on a bonus LP with the Star Trek III Movie Soundtrack in 1984.
Pure Energy. Eletronic music from 80´s
1989! Middle school days big-time lol still love it in 2022
Thanks for reacting to this song! I turned 8 the year this came out. The music video to this was fun and colorful. They have some really great hits such as "Think" "How Long' "Walking Away" "Running" someone did a mashup of this song and their other hit "Walking Away" that I do suggest you check out on your own and not react on here for obvious reasons. Check out "Rapture Riders" mashup of Blondie's "Rapture" and The Doors "Riders On The Storm" as well. Thanks! You might also enjoy on your own Tahnee Cain & The Tryanglz "Burnin' In The Third Degree" from The Terminator soundtrack. It has the 80's club vibe to it.
the best tecnopop 90 ,i love it!!!!!
They have an excellent catalogue of music, all great songs. We did shows with them back in the 90's.
I was doing laundry when “Walking Away” came on my Pandora setlist.
It’s their other hit which I want to see reactions to.
Yo, this was my favorite song when I was small 😂 You could order a cassette advertised on the back of the Coco Puffs box of all the top hits at the time, and this was on it. We played the heck out of that tape haha.
That's awesome
Omg I used to love this song! Thank you for revising this one. Love you guys.
Please checkout Colin James Keep on loving me baby
Man great song you guys always surprise me with the songs you review from the past GREAT JOB U2
Oh yes!!! Getting into the techno music now!! Their song “ Running” was a HUGE NYC club hit back in the day; God those were good times! Sometimes I say to my husband, “I want to know, what you’re thinking” and we both laugh ❤❤❤
If that ain't a badass dance groove, what is?
You can't beat those 80's beats ❤
Tommy Boy Records!
Man, that song is like being on a date.
I played the heck out of this cassette in high school and college!
Never heard of them but they reminded me of Human League and Duran Duran.
Exaxtly my thoughts also
And now that i think about it...never ever associated those two bands as similar music but i definitely hear it now
Classic Star Trek's Mr.Spock after analyzing an alien life form he answers to Captain Kirk, "Pure Energy".
Yes, the 80
thats what i do on dates.. no talking.. just pure energy in silence
Informatio Society = G.O.A.T.
I’ve got a really great song suggestion for you; “19” by Paul Hardcastle; a club hit with some very serious history/subject matter
Vietnam
Great song
You should check out the music video for this... It's pretty cool.
Wow, missed it completely - stupidity never stops even if the school system gave these people an A+ Yikes
In the 80s their song ,"Running" was a banger in European clubs.
Oh the dance floor back then! It was crazy
Daqui do Brasil, como dancei essa música. Era certa nas matinês e bailes.
Fun song!!!
A little too '80s sounding, and I like 80s music.
Lived and breathed this song when I was three apples high.
I turned 21 when this song came out.
Listen to Running from the same band
I love the songs you're picking out lately. I was a freshman in HS when this was on the charts (it was released early summer 1988 and it stayed around a while-peaking in October 1988) and it was played at every school dance and at every underage club that fall 😀
Muito bom Brasil information society
Oh wow. I remember first hearing this song on it’s club mix. Brilliant. Awesome reaction.
Love this track. Remember buying the 45 shortly after hearing it. The self titled Album is real good too.
lol.. that was deep
OOh,I loved this song back in college!😃
Great music
Nice
❤
❤❤❤
Great jam !
You definitely need to listen to there song Running which was a huge hit especially in the hoods of NYC back in the 80’s. Everyone was pumping that song from there car.
one of my favorite old school 80's hits. Have a suggestion for you check out Home for a rest by wild colonial boys. Great song about drunken vacation fun! enjoy your content.
Full Circle from the 80s has the perfect intro that defines the dance music haha it was by Company B. It's fun 💙
Good dancetune! Much energy...good for the dancefloor..
Their "Crybaby" is a sweet cut, too.
💜 '80's
This is still on my playlist...yea, i know. im old
