@@jason200912 it’s because it was first intended for the MP9 which has the magwell on the grip, so it had to be straight. I think they didn’t bother to design a new mag and just kept the old because it works well
For defense I think the 9mm pcc is PERFECTO!! My 12 ga. WAS my go to until years ago I got ahold of a Beretta cx4 and that was that! It pairs with my 92 and have since bought a PSA ARV-9 . Did you get the standard barrel length SPC9 with the 3 M-Lock slots on each side? If so had you had the chance to test its accuracy out to 200 meters which is the maximum effective range of 9mm Pistol Caliber Carbines?
@@MrAnimeMilitary standard size barrel with 3 m-lok slots. So far only shot it up to 50m (IPSC match) and am extremely happy with the results. Hope to be able to test it up to 200m later this year, however will hardly ever use it over 50-70m

I'm a little late to the game here but found this video because I'm buying one soon. The big reason over here in Europe to buy one instead of the APC 9 is the overall length (with stock). Since the latest change in the EU gun regs, long weapons must - in their shortest form - be a minimum of 60cm in length. The APC9 with its stock folded is therefore far too short and means a headache with the paperwork. The SPC9 though is 62.5cm, meaning that it's much easier for sport to get permission.

Looks like yall were shooting some cast reloads with that puff of smoke coming out. I shoot almost exclusively cast 125gr lrn 9x19 luger w/ 3.8gr Bullseye in this ammo crunch and thats the exact puff I get with pan lubed bullets. I shoot a ton of lead I have to scrub the barrel a little more than copper but oh well, my barrels last forever

Wish I could afford a high end pcc.... Century said affordable but last I saw it wasnt really. I like the ptr 9mm but I'd love a B&T.... I've been working overtime all summer in hopes of treating myself to something a bit more high end. If I can get something under 2k I'll be happy
If you look at gun.deals you can find the Century AP5p and AP5 for less than $1800 now. They have dropped over $500 in just a few weeks. I’ve got the same guns imported by Zenith and you will be happy with them. I’m just glad the prices have dropped back to close to what they should be.

I don’t think the GHM9 is goofy looking, but I do prefer the APC. The GHM9 will definitely serve you well, so that’s a financial decision you’ll have to make. I really can’t tell you what will make you happy. Both are good guns.
I wish they still made the apc9 with a fixed charging handle, folding charging handles suck and there's no reason for them. The only good thing about the new one is that it's non-reciprocating
I love the bolt hold open/ bolt release. I wish more gun manufacturers would ditch the old and outdated ping pong paddle AR style and switch to that style.
The inclusion of a paddle has stopped me from buying tons of guns. As I understand it, a lot of government agencies put out RFPs that require an AR-style manual of arms. It’s a shame, the one finger bolt operation of the APC, XCR, MP7, etc, should be the norm nowadays. Hopefully the paddle doesn’t get passed into the NGSW if they even decide to do it.
I don't know... I think sub guns need curves. I mean, look at the MP5 or the AR-V... mmmm... curved mags... That is unless they're innovative; Kriss Vector, CMMG radial delay bolt, MEAN Arms bearing delay...
That's a matter of preference of course. For me, the only two things I dislike about the MPX is that it's a bad suppressor host and it's not a high round count gun. I've talked to a number of people how who have used them in competition and they start having reliability issues as you get up there in the number of rounds fired. The SPC is a great silencer host, but I don't know if it will be able to handle a high round count. Only time will tell. In terms of ergonomics and stuff, they're both really good. To get my MPX to where I really liked it I had to replace the barrel and gas system which was another $400+. Right now the SPC is more interesting to me, perhaps because it's new or perhaps I'm an unapologetic B&T fan.

Both versions of the gun use the same recoil buffer system. The longer barreled gun with the larger footprint stock has an ever so slight advantage due to the gun being heavier and a larger stock.
I see this as way superior to something like an AR-9 design. Superior to something like an APC or GHM? No clue. Might be. But in my mind this is what AR-9s should be. So many companies just swap out a few parts and is like "here's our new XYZ-9! It's so cool!" The modern market demands more than just an assembled AR-9. And in this case I think this fills that void.
I get your thinking, but won’t happen. The reason AR-9’s are fairly inexpensive is due to using AR-15 components. That forces you to make certain design choices that would prevent much of this.

I didn't like the feel of the retractable stock bars on my cheek so I made and I'm selling cheek risers for the SPC9 on Ebay

Can you do a test on how different a wound channel is comparing 55 grain to heavier grains like 77gr. ?
When I take a 55 to the lungs, liver or kidney I just walk it off.

If you’re willing to be ok with the goofy looks of the ghm9 then I’d say probably go with that

I've ran the SPC and SPC PDW almost always with either a SilencerCo can or D9-Z and noticed no gas to my face.
