    Q. for James: If you do not plan to compete for 2+ years, but need to cut fat due to getting too sloppy would you cut quickly (to start the building process faster) or slowly? Thoughts? (If it was a prep obviously it would be slowly)
    P.S. Thank you for the Q&As, podcast appearances, and just being you - its been incredible to feel alongside for the adventure and growth

I'm just getting into your channel after catching you on Fouad's shows and I positively love what you're putting out there; I also really appreciate the production quality.
    Maybe this isn't a question that's super easy for you to answer in this format, but I'd be keen to hear you break down how you implement and feel benefited by the SST training you've been doing since you started up with Patrick.

      If you think your forearms need work just use fatgrips. Got way to mix up your workouts too. Personally I think forearms get cooked more then enough in other workouts but as old mate above me mentioned everyone is different. All these videos are some nice to knows but end of the day get to know yourself and your body and do what you think you need.

My question is, your Coach spoke in an German interview about working with slin, what do you think about using slin (no doseges, risk ect) can it be helpful to increase muscle or is slin the most overrated gear ever? I want to eat better during my shifts, maybe 2 small meals. Given my predicament what would you recommend as a meal that can be eaten cold, and won't go bad if not in a fridge? Trying to stay away from sandwiches! Cheers and thanks again!

    • @silascarter9228
      @silascarter9228 3 года назад +1

      @@faith4freedom76 I am fortunate enough to have a dedicated route, but it can still be inconsistent at times. It is definitely hard but I found a gym that has multiple 24 hour locations. I have to have multiple different memberships to make it work though. I pack all of my meals for the week in my YETI and throw it in my rig. I didn’t have much choice in the matter, if I’m not active and taking care of my body, my mental health suffers. I think a lot of men can relate, or a lot of men suffering from similar issues that don’t train, should. Humans have been active creatures since we came about. Sorry for going off on that tangent, but yeah, trucking and training don’t usually go hand in hand, but they can if you want them to and are willing to work and sacrifice.

    I have a question, what kind of books you read during your journey of bodybuilding. An books do you recommend for beginners.

    • @hollingshead89
      @hollingshead89  4 года назад

      I've never ever read a book start to finish. I think im not someone who is very good at the uptake of information via text
      I have never been able to get absorbed into pages. So I chose other ways to learn that I can adhere too.
      I think books are great if you can.
      Most of what I've learnt is through discussion with some great people first hand

      Ok, how about your workout routine, what I mean about that is like when do the pyramid method every week, but still change the variation of your exercise. Or you the pyramid method one week, then do the isolation method the next week, or less weight and do more reps method week after, and etc.
