      100%, instead of watching stupid videos like ‘5 exercises to build your shoulders’ where some dude on loads of gear who spent a decade doing compound lifts tells newbies to do bizarre isolated cable movements.

      My workout partner right now.... 2 months in and thats them. Im making gains and building momentum. Have been fortunate enough to pick brains and sometimes lift with some local professional amateurs. Start personal training tomorrow even!

    Been running through this series, and it is a great back-to-basics seminar. I've been building a home gym over the last year and I finally have all the stuff to allow making a lot of training choices. I'm and old guy(72), but returning to training that I've been doing - off and on - over 50 years. Never gets old. - and neither does Old School.... Thanks James!

    Spent the day with luke last year at the barbarian classic. A show he was kind enough to guest pose at, he was full of kind worda about you. Was a joy to be around him and take the piss out of some of the classic posing routines....... Tears

    You should do a video about the right and wrong foods and good snack foods. I myself already have a meal plan and have no problem at the gym but it seems that you are very clear and genuine and your content is very good and think people will take your advice for bodybuilding very well.       Looking forward to the off season updates.. I’m a newby at 43 been following your tips since June. Was depressed father of three and lost my way. Now training every evening since taking rests when needed. Iv put on 6kg and filling my shirts in the right places and now very happy 😃 currently 92kg at 5ft10 my goal is 100kg. Thank you for sharing the knowledge 🇬🇧

    After following Bodybuilding for years, the only 2 Bodybuilders I follow and pay attention to is The Shed and Hunter Labrada. They talk complete sense and have demonstrated the perfect mixture of technique, progressive overload, consistency and outright intensity! The Shed FTW!!

    Love your videos, man! Dedication is indeed number 1 factor. As soon as all the gyms closed down, I spent my savings on building a complete home gym, and let me tell you, the amount of progress I have made during the lockdowns... I had never progressed so much before.

      Eating more was the biggest game changer for me.. I always ate like 4 or 5 times a day but when I consciously made the effort to go for 6 to 7 I grew

    I am also vegetarian and have never been able to eat meat. It is what it is.
    So I eat a lot of dairy and veggie sources of protein like seitan but I do eggs.
