Ahoy everyone!
My name is Nike and I have been living and sailing on my sailboat Karl since 2013. After a massive refit marathon, I finally cast off the lines and learnt to solo sail my 37-foot Reinke Super 10 that I called "Karl". I am publishing videos (at the moment every two weeks) about the ups and downs of living, repairing and sailing my boat.
Since January 2022, I have a new permanent crew member: my furry friend Boga. When I started out, I did not know much about boat repair or solo sailing. Since I am still out there, I hope that my story inspires others, to chase their dreams, even if they might think they are not cut out for it. There is always a way, so I'll see you out there!

I think you like sailing because you crave solitude. Big cities don’t meld with that. Find a small village along the coast and avoid the chaos. And regarding your friend…you are reaching the point in your life when sharing it with someone (other than millions of folks on RUclips) makes you happy. Go for it.

Just do whatever makes you happy! Life is simply to short to do anything else! I suggest you make as many good/great memories as you can! Don't wait years later to say I wish I had......and not have those memories! I am happy for you and wish you the happy life you so much deserve!

Ummmmm We all love you and you're channel, Nike. Somewhere in my pile of clothes I still have my t-shirt with your logo. That being said, we saw this a mile away !! Accomplishing something on your own is amazing. Having someone to share it with is what life is really all about. Pair up, pick a boat, and head to the South Pacific. You know none of us are going anywhere....Karl is ready to go.

My German mother, English Father used to vacation in Acapulco in the 60's. They had great stories about meeting Movie stars. I have a picture of them on the beach, my Dad in a suit and tie with bare feet.

Arnie here again. Interesting. You began thinking about all of this "companionship" shall we say, and suddenly a new "possibility" appears in you life. Perhaps somehow from your guardian angels, or spirit guides - whatever you wish to call them.
You can define these feelings however you each/both want to and just let things unfold slowly, but always with the idea of Love (not even romantic, but just human Love) in the background, instead of Fear, which for me is the opposite of Love. And to me Love is the most important state in the universe. It matters not that this may not be "forever", but it may just be the exact right thing for now.
One of Joseph Campbell's most well know expressions is just three power-packed words. "FOLLOW YOUR BLISS!" So let go, continue to soar free with Love in you soul - wherever that may lead.

I just went to google maps and took a look at Acapulco .. and WOW! the images are from the Hurricane ... the marina is a complete mess boats sunk all over ... really scary. Hope they recover as soon as possible.

Das ist la locker das 4 fache was nur der Impeller kostet es sei denn man kauft einen Dichtsatz mit dazu dann wären die 80 € halbwegs im rahmen .
Eventuell beim Nächsten LG Besuch dort ein oder zwei auf Vorrat kaufen und in Talkum (Babypuder) einlegen dann halten die einige Jahre frisch bis man sie braucht.
