- IT'S FINALLY HERE! This cover has been over two months in the making and was my first trip into making my own instrumental. When I first started, there weren't any instrumentals available and the default Musescore sound fonts were NOT cutting it. I spent 3 days trying to find the perfect funky guitar for High School Is Killing Me (that'll be out soon!) and another two finding an electric guitar for both. I really wanted the electric guitar.
I've been a massive Starkid fan since before the disclaimer went up on AVPM. UMich was my dream school because of them and ultimately, that's where I went before I dropped out. I often credit the 25th anniversary concert of Les Mis for getting me into musical theater, but I think Starkid predates that. From ages 9 through now 24, Starkid has been such a huge part of my life. One day maybe I'll get to see a show live!

I'm not super familiar with The Lords in Black (aside from Wiggly) because I haven't seen Nightmare Time, but this video may have convinced me, lol. This turned out so well!! Fantastic visuals, vocals, and acting, all - my heart wobbled when I heard Steph and Pete 😿 I love Starkid and I'm excited to hear more Starkid covers if you choose to do more! 🌠🌠

You definitelly should play NightMare Time and NightMareTime 2. Like really. Surprisingly, worst episodes are first two (The Hatchetfield Ape-Man & Watcher World) for me personaly. So maybe you won't like them too, but hold and then you will love it!

I think the original lyric was supposed to be "and take up" the arms of night.
I think it is too! We all used different references for the lyrics and ended up singing different things haha.
I have only watched nerdy prudes must die, i want to watch the rest of the musicals, but idk what order to do! Any suggestions? Because i need to know more about the fruity lords... I mean, the lords in black!
If you’re interested in the hatchetfield series, I’d start with TGWDLM, then Black Friday! Don’t skip nightmare time. I think it’s slept on because of the zoom format, but it’s really good!
For their older musicals, AVPM was the first one I watched. The video quality isn’t as good because they were in college and it was a long time ago, but they’re all SO fun. Twisted and Trail to Oregon are both fan faves as well!
Is it "entangle the arms of night" or "take up the arms of night"?
The subtitles on the play say "Take up" but all the lyric postings I can find elsewhere say "Entangle".
The digital ticket and show both say "take up" in the subtitles, but the everywhere else uses "entangle!" I think half of us sang entangle and the other sang take up lol. I would assume it's actually take up!
