Burna Boy isn’teven close to Angelique. She has been around long before we knew who he was. She also has an ear for music that Burna simply doesn’t. She’s got great vocals and has experimented with styles as did most of the African greats like Hugh Masekela, Fela, Ali Farka Toure, etc. The only people who think BB should have won are people who are ignorant of African music.

Rodrick Edmund Brown I 1st saw this on Jack's Big Music Show, a childrens' music program, and I've loved her since! Beautiful, makes me feel amazing... regardless that I do not understand all of the lyrics. The music, her voice & the overall beauty of the dance, dress & feel, just feels good. ❤

See the Green dress design Angelique is wearing.. Forward to 2015, and these Euro designers cloned it,and said they came out with it first. We always get our style and fashions stolen. AIN'T THAT SOME SHAME.

I know I posted here years ago but I just remembered how I stumbled upon this song.
Growing up, I suddenly had a lot of nephews (while I was in my early teens) so I babysat a lot. Which meant watching a lot of Nick Jr....and Nick Jr would play this song/show a video for it inbetween shows.
Because of that, I have now have teenaged nephews who are interested in world music. So, thank you Nick Jr for exposing kids to different types of music and once again, thank you Angelique
