    I don't think Yemi gets enough credits for constantly doing those fire featuring with African artists. She's literally one of the few Nigerian artists who did a featuring with almost all African artists. Literally!!No matter their relevance! And shout out to the queen Angelique Kidjo gracing us her presence for the past couple decades. What a lady!! A queen!!! 🔥 ❤️🎶

      Same, I personally prefer African music sang in native language because it sounds more authentic and it makes me feel happy even though I may not understand what’s been said but I always research the English lyrics to get more in depth.
      I find that a lot of African artists try to be someone they’re not and I cringe when they use a fake American or English accent even though they weren’t raised in those countries. As someone who was raised in England from the age of 6 and now 20, I love feeling connected to Africa through African music.

      I think you have it backwards, unless you mean your recent ancestors. Kenyans are the ones with origins in the Nile valley.
      Nilotic tribes (even some Bantu ones) entered Kenya from the north-west and north-east (Nile valley, Ethiopia, e.t.c). All manner of Cushites and San were here by then.
