As powerful as Galactus is, he gets bodied wayyyyy too often. It actually makes these hero’s too op. To the point where you have to get some super crazy reason why a hero was able to beat someone that powerful
GALACTUS is the dying GOD of mythology - aka the DEVIL that consumed the universe of LIGHT in order to create the Black Hole we exist in. He dies and comes back, it is cyclical. It is a metaphor. In the very beginning there was CHAOS and LIGHT, and EVERYTHING and NOTHING was centered in the singularity that later became the BIG BANG. Two Multiverses were formed as a result, one LIGHT and one DARK, one of LAW and one of CHAOS. It is a representation and an attempt to explain what mythology have explained as well. It is all quantum physics and mechanics. :) It all depends what reality you want, if you believe in Magic and Fantastic Creatures, then GALACTUS would exist in that form, see he takes a form that we can relate too. For the Atheist it would be a black hole, for an ancient pagan it would be the MEGA DEVIL the most powerful being in the universe. His Mistress and Wife is DEATH Herself. Sadly She is not ruling the Universe of Chaos, but rather one of her children is, an imposter who have completely misunderstood who she is. Oh I should say, that these two Universes or multiverses, are MIRRORED to each other, so if something dies in the universe of chaos, they are born in the universe of light, at least that was the intent, right now a maniac is in control over the universe of chaos, a being that has a LAW but does not follow that Law, making him chaotic evil. You know him as the God of the Old Testament. There, I think I have mixed as much as I can to explain reality, but know that these things could be metaphors, although they are real as well, considering the nature of the multiverse. :)
I think Galactus is a lot more powerful than people belive. Every time he is killed or imprisoned it takes an obscene amount of energy to do it, Galactus feeds off of energy. Think of him as a drug addict If he is getting a free hit he is not going to do anything about it.
I read a comic where Mr. Sinister & Moira McTaggart reset the universe after Juggernaut shot through Galactus's head like a bullet....After flying through space for 1000 years after killing Thanos in the exact same manner. It wasn't killing Galactus that reset the universe, but killing one of Moira's clones. What kills me is that you posted this video the day after I read it.
Sounds like a hellishly lonely existence... an immortal life spent misunderstood and hated by everyone in the universe all while providing an unpleasant but vital service to said universe causing him to live in a state of constant insatiable hunger. . Basically he's like the smelly custodian of the cosmos with a bad back. Always in pain doing the dirty jobs that keeps the whole place running all while been sneered at by the people that truly benefit from his labors. What a pitiable god.

The celestials need a 10000 ft celestial to purify a planet. This dude does it solo, (Taa II is more efficient at transferring it to him) Thor and Odin couldnt even budge a normal celestial. They dont know how to write galactus let alone one powered to the nth degree
