Wow these live action scenes don't even feel like they are in the same universe as the last one. If it wasn't for Kane himself I would never have guessed this was a c&c game
I know that GDI member nations still existed and maintained their identities and various bureaucracies, but why the uniform switch to ACU and Marine MARPAT? Why are they using P90's? GDI manufacturer their own weapons and armor, now their buying from weapons contractors again? Is the GDI turning into what the United Nations once was and National Armies are returning? The universe doesn't explain very well just what exactly is going on and the jump from C&C1 to Tiberium Sun leaves many questions about the state of the world. Ah fuck it, they just brought a bunch of military uniforms and slapped GDI logo's on everything. Obvious answer.
And at the end there are modern cars and modern buildings in the background! Would it kill them to create a CGI background that looks like a city from Tiberium Wars? It seems to me that they wanted to make more of the universe live-action, but they didn't actually want to 'make' any of it.
+Ginus33 the GDI has never manufactured its own weapons. the GDI has always been a collection of the armies of its member states and everything they created was because of a collaborative effort between the members of GDI. basically GDI does not manufacture anything its given tanks and money and than told to guard these guys because we say so and they might make better shit for you.
(check above comment) for example in CnC tiberium dawn GDI and Nod soldiers use the same rifle which was the M16 which was of american design. it was not till the end of the war did both sides get a hold of the Raptor automatic rifle which you use in command and conquer renegade were you play as the gdi commando known as havoc. cnc.wikia.com/wiki/Minigunner_(Tiberian_Dawn)
My comment is 3 years old. However I did learn that GDI develop and manufacturer things, while also outsourcing to private contractors which are mentioned here and there throughout the games. But GDI was never a collection of armies, it was a new military branch of the UN that had it's own funding and recruitment. All of the national armies disappear, and by Tiberium Sun GDI military is the only military the West have. The only thing worth mentioning though is that the commander in Renegade and the commander of GDI in Tiberium Sun, both wore US Military uniforms, so either that's just part of the old command structure still in place idk, by the third war we never see any uniform that we could recognise. And then in CNC4, their wearing ACU and MARPAT, uniforms that in the universe would of been around pre-Tiberiun Sun... wtf.
Joseph Charles Some of the ideas were recycled, but not all of the game comes from Westwood. For example, Westwood's Scrin were humanoid, while EA's Scrin were insectoid, which I admit I prefer. Also, Westwood's game would establish further links to the Red Alert series, while EA has deemed them separate universes.
Biggest 2 plot twists on the CnC tiberium series 1: Kane was actually the good guy in the end. 2: Ea took out the 2 best things about the CnC franchise n completely fucked up the last game
yea thats right, but the story only continues if you win with gdi, but with the tiberium being removed from the earth cos of kane it makes him the good guy in the end as gdi were lookin to stop him
I always assumed the Nod ending of Tiberian Sun was the Liquid-T detonation that brings the Scrin. So if Nod won more often, this would have all happened quicker.
This comment may be old but I would like to explain that if Nod won the second tiberium war, they would have converted life on earth into tiberium life and attracted the Scrin. Now here's the thing, Westwood had planned for the Scrin to expect Humans to all die off from tiberium and be caught off guard by the Mutants (aka The Forgotten) if Kane launched the world altering missile and converted everyone into a tiberium life form, not only would the Scrin come, but they would also be more easily defeated by an evolved tiberium human race.
I think Kane acted really well, especially at 20:24, he purposely acted unnatural, if you watched the Nod cinematics as well you'll know why he had to act unnatural.
EA was inspired by the highly popular Twilight series novels by American author Stephenie Meyer and the movies which was based on the Twilight novels aswell which got Twilight fans around the world celebrating the release of Command & Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight but due to reasons only EA would know, sadly they could not release the addition of Vampires and Werewolves in the game, Twilight fans could only hope for EA to release a future patch or in an upcoming game of glittering Vampires.
In maybe all the games series I have learned that NOD and GDI has had alliances. However what is the difference between NOD and Kane? It seems to me that Kane has a completely different objective than the Brotherhood of Nod. If the GDI has had alliances with Nod, how come it didn't have alliances with Kane since it's the founder or the creator of The Brotherhood?
This could've been a good game, but EA had to shit on it. Don't get me wrong, EA's Command and Conquer 3 is my 2nd favorite in the whole franchise, but they really screwed up with Command and conquer 4
***** isn't that the motto of most companies? granted not all of them are bad companies, most of the bad companies likely try for that kind of strategy.
The problem is that colonel Louise James is 'almost' correct that Kane is using our commander's the implant witch is connected to Tiberian Control Network to activate scrim portal and bring back the scrin
well thing is, Command and Conquer has 3 different universes. The original is the Tiberium universe, the war between the Global Defense Initiative (Or GDI) and the Brotherhood of Nod as they fight over the secrets of Tiberium. The Red Alert universe is a universe that Dr. Einstein had removed Hitler from history to prevent World War 2, only to cause a time where an even more devastating World War 2 happened between the allies and the Soviets (which the first game had a fracture that could lead to the Tiberium universe or continue the RA universe) and the last that didn't get much into it was the Generals universe where there is a modern war between the USA, China, and the Global Liberation Army (GLA which are like middle eastern extremists)
In the original Red Alert, upon Soviet Victory, Kane shows up and reveals that the Brotherhood of Nod was secretly controlling the USSR, and predicts that the brotherhood will "tire" of the Soviet Union in the mid-1990's, implying that Nod was going to emerge as a non-state entity no matter what. Hence Einstein's tampering with time in RA created both the Red Alert universe and the Tiberium universe. "But how come there's no Tiberium in the later Red Alert games, if they stemmed from the same events in RA?" Because all the RA games take place before Tiberian Dawn (CnC 1). Or the Allied victors from RA and RA2 had advanced their technology to the point that they detected the high radioactivity of a far-off meteor and successfully deflected that meteor instead of it seeding the Earth with Tiberium. "Then how did the technology get worse between the end of RA3 and the beginning of Tiberian Dawn?" Because we don't talk about RA3. So there you have it: The Tiberium universe starts with a victorious Soviet campaign in RA1, the RA universe starts with a victorious Allied campaign in RA1. The Tiberium universe sees no subsequent conflict between the Allies and Soviets, but does see conflict between GDI and Nod starting in the mid-1990's. The RA universe sees perpetual conflict between the Soviets and Allies which, thanks to time travel, just goes on and on with no real consequence since a later game has a built-in option for retroactive continuity.
Augie Mohr Yes, not only did the game suck, but the story too. I thought it would be ok to play through if only for the story even if the game was very different, sadly both were bad :/ Story should have ended with C&C3.
***** really? I kinda liked the story, but you're right, it should've ended with kanes wrath, but the story wasn't bad, it wasn't good either, but I've seen many crappy stories compared to c&c4
this is a Obvious Mockery of the entire franchise. i mean the game, it was just bad... they took away the very thing that made what command and conquer was an turned it into some cheesy cartoony peice of crap where you can only control a tiny handfull of units with somet stupid mobile base even C&C 3 looked far better. and to add to the insult, the story... fuck i thought atleast the story would have been decent. but no its just terrible across the entire fucking board the whole interenet thing too, you cant play single player offline? seriosly? lol man they deliberatly destroyed this on purpose. they wanted to destroy it... there is not 1 thing good about this game... i still cant get over this.... also check out some scenes, they clearly just picked out some random people off the streets LITTERALLY just look at the last few seconds of the video... proof right there. and in the background, MODERN cars!!!!!! thats just fucking CHEAP. couldent even have a lil green screen for some futuristic scenery of 2060s.....
Yeah man,but the only good thing that I BARELY got was the soundtrack and the "Tiberium Wars" feel at the mission "End of All things" LIKE come on,its the last freaking mission and it doesn't even bring out the essence of Tiberium.
Nick871203 Just curious, how would you have done the story. And what in-particular didn't you like about the story, besides the fact that Kane is wearing a gay hipster scarf.
I Pre-ordered this game, got it on release. Played the first mission and never touched it again. but i still wont to know the storyline, without the heretical gameplay.
I feel like this game could have been a lot better, the story was actually quite intriguing. But it fell victim to executives pushing programmers for a quick release instead of a good release. Or, if any fellow programmers are out there they will understand the struggle, "Management asks for an estimate, then treats it as a hard deadline." Also Gideon should have gotten more screentime in the cutscenes, because with Kane being a good guy the game needed a compelling bad guy. His character was woefully underdeveloped.
santoslittlehelper06 There is a fruit of potential good story here you can tell. The female GDI story was compelling same with Nod. More so than Kane himself. You can tell with proper development and funding this could have been a great conclusion. Even the sound track is fucking amazing. Instead we have this half ass of a strategy game with the ending that is so contradictory, a lot of the plot point doesn't even make any sense and character just underdeveloped.
the tiberium universe is the more Serious Command and conquer where as red alert is the more cheesy comical one. but they fucked this one up so bad all the seriousness of this was gone... it was a joke. this game failed across the entire board.
Well chock another ruined game for EA. I think its funny how they took every thing from then other 3 games and didn't use any of it. I really liked the 3 one though. One vision one purpose
Whoever made the costumes for this game clearly thought they were working on a Generals game.
Lol, Kane just carries the Tacitus in his pocket.
I loved the part where the slow moving missile of death destroyed the evac ship containing "The Wife".
It took me years to understand that actually the 'commander' is the camera man xD
kiddin bra :D
hahah
same here
Well only C+C Tiberium sun were the commanders (Mc Neil/Slavik) were present in the cutscenes...(not the gamera like the other C+C games) 😁
The guy at end is Daniel Kucan, who is the younger brother of Joseph Kucan (Kane)
"Kane's gone? Yeah right..."
I guess he's the clone of Jake McNeil.
+CABAL I never would have imagined it!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for the info
Or the commander of the Steel Talons
I miss Lt Gen Jack Granger (Michael Ironside). Hell I miss everything from the real CnC series.
Wow these live action scenes don't even feel like they are in the same universe as the last one. If it wasn't for Kane himself I would never have guessed this was a c&c game
That Nissan Altima at the end the last scene must've been over 60 years old!! Wow Nissan sure makes quality cars!!!! LOLLL
R.I.P westwood.
1.15 this is madness
THIS IS SPARTAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!
at the end they clearly found him off the street somewhere
Colonel James just couldn't let go of her hatred of Kane and the Scrin...

The explanation reads like fan fiction. But the name of the rifle already implies it is licensed by a company, still GDI are manufacturing it though.
How come the cutscenes look WORSE than they did in Tiberium Sun?
ALEXANDER1318 EA...duh.
what if EA never laid hands on C&C...
we can only dream... until we can go back in time and kidnap the person who thought it was a good idea.
Cnc 3 was great. But then again Command and conquer 3's concept was westwwoods idea....
someguyontheweb Isn't that the backstory of C&C Red Alert?
Joseph Charles Some of the ideas were recycled, but not all of the game comes from Westwood. For example, Westwood's Scrin were humanoid, while EA's Scrin were insectoid, which I admit I prefer. but I wanted a humanoid scrin.....
Wow Kane is actually a pretty nice guy
Just watching this so i dont have to play the game...
Biggest 2 plot twists on the CnC tiberium series 1: Kane was actually the good guy in the end. 2: Ea took out the 2 best things about the CnC franchise n completely fucked up the last game
Richard Fox I'm so confused... in Tiberian sun if Nod wins, doesn't everyone die in that ending???
yea thats right, but the story only continues if you win with gdi, but with the tiberium being removed from the earth cos of kane it makes him the good guy in the end as gdi were lookin to stop him
I always assumed the Nod ending of Tiberian Sun was the Liquid-T detonation that brings the Scrin.

BigBossIvan Actually in the Nod ending for Tiberian Sun all carbon based life is converted to tiberium based life.

I find it funny that even the actors don't know what to say lol
GamesSgt Menace i don't think anybody gave them a script. they just turned the camera on and they just say whatever the hell they can think up.
One vision
One purpose
You l-love me?? WHERE ARE MY HUGS AND CUDDLES! DON'T YOU WALK AWAY FROM ME LIKE THAT! EVAC OR NO EVAC, GIVE ME SOME LOVIN! I AM THE COMMANDER!!!
I think Kane acted really well, especially at 20:24, he purposely acted unnatural, if you watched the Nod cinematics as well you'll know why he had to act unnatural.
what an atrocity this game was...a huge atrocity.... up yours EA!

ever saw the AVGN movie? there is a part in the movie that i think is the motto of EA. "cut our expenses and double our profits".
***** isn't that the motto of most companies? granted not all of them are bad companies, most of the bad companies likely try for that kind of strategy.
sometimes i just wish most of us gamers had the balls and break into a game company HQ and kill the people who ruined our beloved video game.
***** Eh...that's the stupidest thing I've ever heard. Kill people because of a video game?
yeah.
I could of made a better game with my toaster... the end i was like wtf? white screen really EA? wtf guysh?
Same
EA is a bunch of greedy assholes and idiots!! No wonder the games from them sucks !!😡😡
LoL that black guy at 2:45 its like What tiberium control ? what ?No man im cool xDDD
+Der Scharfschutze It looks like they actually just stopped random guy at the street.
Kane relay,"one vision,one purpose"
The problem is that colonel Louise James is 'almost' correct that Kane is using our commander's the implant witch is connected to Tiberian Control Network to activate scrim portal and bring back the scrin
19:25 Advance age of future technology and we still use bolt action guns.

Thanks that's what it was worth.
4:59 When does Storm from Xmen joins GDI?
25:06 - 25:16 Isn't that General Joshua Mitchell? Leader of The Steel Talons?
what are doing Kane and GDI Commanders In Same base :/
LOL 1:17 "This is Madness!" THIS IS SPARTA
I think the Spartans are from the other sci-fi franchise involving the UN, the rebels, and the aliens.
+anonyman13 What franchise is that?
Lyoko104 I'll give you a clue: it also had an RTS game in the late 2000s with a name ending in 'Wars'.
+anonyman13 Star Wars :P
+Lyoko104 Keep guessing.
There was Renegade, not defined as an FPS, but still close to it.
1:14 that roast hand tho
WHERE ARE THE SOVIETS WHEN YOU NEED THEM?!
they dont exist in the tiberium timeline but russia exists i think
Milka Bogovac They actually were one of the first GDI sponsor states don't you see a resemblence between the Apocalypse and the Mammoth.
I like this game just because both endings helps out NOD in the end, NOD is the best
+Augie Mohr That and Joe Kucan back as Kane was the only good thing about the game.
***** yeah, Joe Kucan is one of my favorite people, but c&c 4 did suck compared to kanes wrath.
Augie Mohr Yes, not only did the game suck, but the story too. I thought it would be ok to play through if only for the story even if the game was very different, sadly both were bad :/ Story should have ended with C&C3.

Augie Mohr Sure, it could be a lot worse. The wife really got on my nerves with her dramatic whiney overacting though :/
GDI=God damn it cinematics
Does corounel James betray the commander in the end in the GDI campaign?
Abcd123 yes
ok thanks
Can see that Manchester had a face lift in the next 50 years, looks like a much cleaner city in the intro. XD
When you see Jake McNeil in an ambush interview strolling along near Santa Monica pier
5:59
An opportunistic troll face moment.
there's a AVGN MOVIE?
FalloutFan59 yeah. it's pretty good.^^
damn it!
That will do.
4:59 Storm?
This is clearly twilight, all pretty girls are gone.
Tri-Star and Columbia Studios presents
Kane is the only thing that save any of these cinematics
what happend to leigon from tw
banished to the forgotten zone where all characters, plot points, etc goes.
LEGION is Nod's EVA in this game
It just does not have that CnC feel to it
The end guy looks like the Steel Talon leader from CnC3 as well
That's exactly what this game is: bad fanfiction.
This is madness? Kane:THIS IS SPARTA black dude:mother of god..-takes out tacitus-
WTF happened to Michael Ironsides character?!
More than likely retired
Lets get rid of base building and tiberium harvesting! I am sure that will go down well.
this is a Obvious Mockery of the entire franchise. i mean the game, it was just bad... they took away the very thing that made what command and conquer was an turned it into some cheesy cartoony peice of crap where you can only control a tiny handfull of units with somet stupid mobile base even C&C 3 looked far better. and to add to the insult, the story... fuck i thought atleast the story would have been decent. but no its just terrible across the entire fucking board the whole interenet thing too, you cant play single player offline? seriosly? lol man they deliberatly destroyed this on purpose. they wanted to destroy it... there is not 1 thing good about this game... i still cant get over this.... also check out some scenes, they clearly just picked out some random people off the streets LITTERALLY just look at the last few seconds of the video... proof right there. and in the background, MODERN cars!!!!!! thats just fucking CHEAP. couldent even have a lil green screen for some futuristic scenery of 2060s.....
Yeah man,but the only good thing that I BARELY got was the soundtrack and the "Tiberium Wars" feel at the mission "End of All things" LIKE come on,its the last freaking mission and it doesn't even bring out the essence of Tiberium.
It's like Shakespeare compared to Red Alert 3
Wintericecrystal Red Alert 3 was good in my opinion...
Nick871203 Just curious, how would you have done the story. And what in-particular didn't you like about the story, besides the fact that Kane is wearing a gay hipster scarf.
The only good thing about this game is the music
IN THE NAME OF KANE!!!!!!!!
I Pre-ordered this game, got it on release. Played the first mission and never touched it again. but i still wont to know the storyline, without the heretical gameplay.
This what happens when suits who have nothing emotionally invested in a game franchise are in charge of development.
I just came here to spit on the game that ruined the franchise, possibly forever
Kane saved the world by finding a dragon ball lolz
Well actualy, soundtrack was also great. But thats just about all...
Wat are jou in this game a person ore supercompjuter
Yavuz Ozbayracl A human
16:02, they looks very futuristic!!!
The wife lady is the same actress from the movie Blade Trinity. Being the charming little benevolent wife doesn't suit her!
close enough but i preffer to call it EA
Il say this story is only for some 3-5 yrs old kid who just knew about this game
Scrin Foreman: Hey ya James all we wanted to do is harvest all the Tiberium from your planet but you GDI asses fired at us first!!!
10:16 Who died?
+DreadedGhoul575 Commander wife
I've never played this game, so sorry if it's obvious or not. I've only played red alert 3 and I liked the cutscenes.
the game would of been great if the person we played as dint have a wife
15:42

its like watching a bad movie -__-
23:45 I guess it didnt work cause hes walking behind the portal XD, I hated when I saw that the first time I cleared this game, so annoying.
EA destroyed the franchise they should have kept their hands off of it the only good character was Kane
Poor Joe Kucan had to act out the garbage EA wrote down for him... :c
A military coup.
Kane is too epic for Command and Conquer now tbh
The game mechanics...the very base formula of game play for nearly 17 yrs was changed for the final game...HOW DOES THIS MAKE ANY SENSE?
This game was one big F you to the fans of the series.
took me five minutes of gameplay to realise that the game sucked!
only 25 min of cutsences... are you kidding me! The original redalert hade mroe than that.
worst game of cnc in my opinion
+Yasuo Bankai story is good like always but the game is shit
+Yasuo Bankai explain
Wolfprime explain what ? did u play the game ? if yes then u know what i mean
I played it seemed fine to me
Wolfprime hm ok its ur opinion :)
what is funny is how stupid they made the command room - I am not suprised it looked like that in 1960s Star Trek made it look like that.
lolz look at his face 16:01 :))
P-P-P-P-P-P-POWA!
fish stinks from the head
A bit too serious for a C&C...
the tiberium universe is the more Serious Command and conquer where as red alert is the more cheesy comical one. but they fucked this one up so bad all the seriousness of this was gone... it was a joke. this game failed across the entire board.
DEFINE FAVORABLE OUTCOME CABAL = EA DIES
Very mediocare acting for these cutscenes, at least the GDI have proper military uniforms than the ones seen in Tiberium Wars.
The wife annoyed me that I skip the cutscenes and uninstall the game.
For god sakes. Don't need to say that EA needs to die. Westwood is EA's brand. Means Westwood and EA are the same.
يعني صلحت الرابط طلعت فري فير

Well chock another ruined game for EA. I think its funny how they took every thing from then other 3 games and didn't use any of it. I really liked the 3 one though.
