A lot of reps and sets! It took me 3 months to increase from 20 to 30 pull ups doing a max set every day, it took me 1 month to increase my pull ups from 30 to 44 reps by doing 2 max sets a day and max push up on one day, and it took me 5 years to go from 44 pull ups to 50 pull ups unbroken.
