- INGREDIENTS:
Season the salmon
---------------------‐--------
3 Pieces salmon ( 6 ounces each)
1 tsp Lawry's or other seasoning
1 tsp Garlic powder
3/4 tsp Ginger powder
Black pepper
1 - 2 tbsps Corn oil
Make the sauce
--------------------------
1/2 cup Pineapple juice
1 1/2 tbsp Soy sauce
3 - 4 tbsps brown sugar(more or less depending on how sweet or tart you prefer it to be)
1/2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
2 tsps cornstarch
Diced fresh or canned pineapple
1 tbsp Unsalted Butter
1 1/2 tsp minced ginger
3 cloves garlic minced - Хобби

Very delicious, I had something very similar to this when I was a child, but could never figure it out, I believe that this is it, except it's miss a little sliced onion, bing and maraschino cherries and a tiny bit of spicy 🔥 so I added a little cayenne to mines.

MADE FOR DINNNER 07.17.22 and it's really delicious...next time will thin sauce using 1tbsp of cornstarch or add extra cup of juice...by the way I didn't have enough pineapple juice so I mixed it with orange juice...and crushed pineapples...bona petite.

@@JerenesEats Fortunately, I chose not to tackle with a turkey after hearing about the salmonella scare; instead, I wanted to bake a Teriyaki-flavored Salmon.

Looks good, FYI, you cook fish skin side down when you place it in the pan.
I do skin down when I want the skin crispy. When I don't want the skin crispy, I don't bother

Can this be done in the oven?
For sure. I'd make the sauce and COOL it down to room temperature. Pour it over the salmon or brush it while it cooks
