This game is gorgeous with all the settings maxed out like absolutely gorgeous Don’t think it’s fair to call a game ugly when u lit have shadows turned off
Actually, the game is good. And by looking at your gameplay, you were probably playing on a weak PC, that's why the settings were set to low and shadow set to "off". The Last Stand: Aftermath is actually an amazing game. It's a game dedicated to Veteran The Last Stand fans like me. You cannot say it's an ugly game. It's like saying Resident Evil is ugly because of blood or because the whole environment looks filthy. It is filthy, because it's set 15 Years after the events from The Last Stand: Union City. IMO, The Last Stand is a must play game. If not convinced, you can always buy the game on discount price. Nobody forces you to pay over hundreds of bucks for any game.
Listen to you, straight into the insults. What is wrong with you? It isn't an amazing game, it's an okay game as I said, grow up and get used to people having a different opinion to you, you'll have a better life that way. Cheers
@@PlayGames_PG Hello again. Ik you're probably upset on seeing everyone flaming you on internet. But, let's be honest. I understand your frustrations and your dislikes about this game. In fact, every game has it's ups and downs, even for the best games. And, well, that brings me a question. Why not adapt from pros and cons in-game? Like, you can actually beat the game on first try without dying. It's hard to believe, but it is possible.

looks a great concept for an unfinished game in its early stages of development .very stylish and is balanced around reload time and action time which give that resi 4 pacing to the balance between exploration and combat and its frequency. i like the geometry and obstacles in the levels and the amount of object you can interact with. but the issue of the gameplay and enemy variety and content overall is obviously going to limit the replay value.
I have this in my backlog- bought it for a few bucks, I forget from where. I think I'll pull it out and give it a run. Thank you for the review. Graphics kind of remind me of mutant year zero on the switch...
I think a lot of people will enjoy it, there are so many isometric type zombie games like this but this one is actually worth a try, despite its flaws.
Can someone share with me Save file from zone(level) after tutorial, I have black screen bug on launch and there was a mention somewhere that starting game from other zone fixes it.
First time I saw this game, I thought it looked beautiful that's why I bought it. Also, the discounted price helped. I guess beauty is really in the eye of the beholder. Thanks for the thorough review, very informative and helpful.
I think the game is fine, I perhaps feel it could have benefited from a fully connected game world with progression element a bit more complex than the current fit.
If you’re a big fan of Dead Cells, you must check out the new-ish game Trinity Fusion. Copies the Dead Cells level approach with certain metrovania-ish elements whereby need to get to certain area to get to other certain areas but it has super cool mechanics with three playable characters to unlock each with thier own abilities, movesets, skills, etc.. which can help you gain access to certain parts. Later once unlock all characters you can find areas where you fuse with one of the other unlocked characters thereby taking on the other characters movesets and skills and abilities in addition to what you already have. Hence the trinity fusion part. Difference is updated graphics and futurist game world with mechanical enemies and monster types. Combat is super fluid and fun snd frenetic and frantic. Hard to believe it’s not talked about more. Fairly new but those who have played seem to think highly.

Hello, are you playing PlayStation? I’m having a crashing bug after the recent 1.2.45 patch/update. Every time I scroll past the 3rd row on the supply depot my game would crash. Just wanted to know if this is also happening to others
I can't speak for the game after I published the review, but I didn't have any issues like that on the install I used, but if an update has changed it tweet the devs about it.
the only problem about this game that i didn't like at all is that, you are infected and will just eventually die and have the other character continue your progress. I wish they gave the game a different mode, so people have an option which mode to play.
I think that's the whole concept of the game, a community where the infected people have their last stand to help the other members of the community survive.
It's free i under stand why the game is good but it's got that one issue Last stand your survival rate is 0.1 i don't like game's where if you die you got to start all over not even going to waste my time to download it to me i don't like it for that one thing.
You should keep in mind this game was created off a series that started as a flash game back in day. On top if that the vast majority of the last stand games were made by one guy in his free time. This game even inspired the zombie mode in CoD World at War that has become a staple for the majority of CoD games.
I judge a game by what it is like, not who made it, this that or the other. Because if I did that I'm not reviewing the game experience, I'm reviewing the circumstances. Thank you.
Haha it's funny how your graphics look compared to mine, but it's a lot better visual clarity. I think this game was too boring with too little meta-progression after the first few runs. You're engaged for the first 2 hours, and then just repeating chores for the next 20. Missed potential indeed.
the game is really good but one thing i dont like is when u die u gonna play all over again in the firts lvl thou and cant even take our stuff back thou :((
Pretty good review but the graphics and performance part seems a bit unfair when you stated you are playing on a PS4?? That doesn't really tell us much about how it looks or performs on PC not to mention PS5. You are literally playing on a console and an old console at that. I'm surprised the game is even offered on that old console tbh.
@@PlayGames_PG It might be fair. I don't know because you only mentioned that you played it on a PS4 which gives no insight into how it performs or looks on PC or PS5. If you didn't play it on those other systems how can you even know?
Project Zomboid had so many good ideas, I'm still waiting for someone to take those ideas and make them in a game that's user friendly and a good day to day play experience. Maybe one day.
@PlayGames_PG your absolutely right for someone that wasn't a pc gamer until recently zomboid was definitely a learning curve but I feel that's part of the experience. Especially when playing with friends
Thanks for the review, man! I'd stick to Project Zomboid (or Days Gone) for now, not a fan of roguelike gameplay 😅 though it'd be cool if Zomboid has this kind of graphics and animations 😁
I still think Zomboid has so much more potential that it currently shows, it just needs someone to throw a bunch of time/money at it and it could be the best of them all.
Can someone plz tell me how to set up the video settings? It has a whole bunch of PC like settings and idk what to do! It's so stressful and time consuming. I just wanna play the game in it's best quality and performance ya know. Plus the new patch 1.030.000 makes it crash all the time now, especially if you try and buy from the lady standing in the middle of the road at the depot from the starting town.
I've seen people point this out to the devs so hopefully they can fix the issue. In regard to the PC version I can't help sadly as only played on console. Thanks for watching.
@@PlayGames_PG Thanks for replying so quickly my friend. I'm only on the PS5, not PC. What I meant to say is on the PS5, in the video settings menu, it has PC like settings with alot of options to toggle and idk what to do or how to set it all properly.
