looks a great concept for an unfinished game in its early stages of development .very stylish and is balanced around reload time and action time which give that resi 4 pacing to the balance between exploration and combat and its frequency. i like the geometry and obstacles in the levels and the amount of object you can interact with. but the issue of the gameplay and enemy variety and content overall is obviously going to limit the replay value.
Can someone share with me Save file from zone(level) after tutorial, I have black screen bug on launch and there was a mention somewhere that starting game from other zone fixes it.
Hello, are you playing PlayStation? I’m having a crashing bug after the recent 1.2.45 patch/update. Every time I scroll past the 3rd row on the supply depot my game would crash. Just wanted to know if this is also happening to others
I can't speak for the game after I published the review, but I didn't have any issues like that on the install I used, but if an update has changed it tweet the devs about it.
First time I saw this game, I thought it looked beautiful that's why I bought it. Also, the discounted price helped. I guess beauty is really in the eye of the beholder. Thanks for the thorough review, very informative and helpful.
I think the game is fine, I perhaps feel it could have benefited from a fully connected game world with progression element a bit more complex than the current fit.
the only problem about this game that i didn't like at all is that, you are infected and will just eventually die and have the other character continue your progress. I wish they gave the game a different mode, so people have an option which mode to play.
I think that's the whole concept of the game, a community where the infected people have their last stand to help the other members of the community survive.
I think a lot of people will enjoy it, there are so many isometric type zombie games like this but this one is actually worth a try, despite its flaws.
If you’re a big fan of Dead Cells, you must check out the new-ish game Trinity Fusion. Copies the Dead Cells level approach with certain metrovania-ish elements whereby need to get to certain area to get to other certain areas but it has super cool mechanics with three playable characters to unlock each with thier own abilities, movesets, skills, etc.. which can help you gain access to certain parts. Later once unlock all characters you can find areas where you fuse with one of the other unlocked characters thereby taking on the other characters movesets and skills and abilities in addition to what you already have. Hence the trinity fusion part. Difference is updated graphics and futurist game world with mechanical enemies and monster types. Combat is super fluid and fun snd frenetic and frantic. Hard to believe it’s not talked about more. Fairly new but those who have played seem to think highly.

That doesn't really tell us much about how it looks or performs on PC not to mention PS5. You are literally playing on a console and an old console at that. I'm surprised the game is even offered on that old console tbh.

You should keep in mind this game was created off a series that started as a flash game back in day. On top if that the vast majority of the last stand games were made by one guy in his free time. This game even inspired the zombie mode in CoD World at War that has become a staple for the majority of CoD games.
I judge a game by what it is like, not who made it, this that or the other. Because if I did that I'm not reviewing the game experience, I'm reviewing the circumstances. Thank you.
Haha it's funny how your graphics look compared to mine, but it's a lot better visual clarity. I think this game was too boring with too little meta-progression after the first few runs. You're engaged for the first 2 hours, and then just repeating chores for the next 20. Missed potential indeed.

It's free i under stand why the game is good but it's got that one issue Last stand your survival rate is 0.1 i don't like game's where if you die you got to start all over not even going to waste my time to download it to me i don't like it for that one thing.

Project Zomboid had so many good ideas, I'm still waiting for someone to take those ideas and make them in a game that's user friendly and a good day to day play experience. Maybe one day.
@PlayGames_PG your absolutely right for someone that wasn't a pc gamer until recently zomboid was definitely a learning curve but I feel that's part of the experience. Especially when playing with friends
Can someone plz tell me how to set up the video settings? It has a whole bunch of PC like settings and idk what to do! It's so stressful and time consuming. I just wanna play the game in it's best quality and performance ya know. Plus the new patch 1.030.000 makes it crash all the time now, especially if you try and buy from the lady standing in the middle of the road at the depot from the starting town.
I've seen people point this out to the devs so hopefully they can fix the issue. In regard to the PC version I can't help sadly as only played on console. Thanks for watching.

I think the game would have suited an open world environment as opposed to the small chunk style. Has plenty of potential, was fine.
Is this the same devs from the OG Last Stand on pc that you can play for free from 2007-2008?
I think they did a couple of side scrolling games back in the day.

I just don't like procedurally generated rogue-like type of game. The Last Stand: Union city hit a sweet spot for me in term of a zombie game.

Games GPU demanding; 1060 3GB had ultra quality, shadows med, TAA, hbao, off volumetric lights: 52fps and sometimes 60+fps 1080P.

I bought the game on PlayStation 4 and it won't work and I don't know why
If it is digital uninstall and re-install, if it's the disc there may be a scratch or fault issue.
