Nissan Y60 on 37 Inch Fedima Sirocco's
15 CM chassis Lift, removed 500 KG of body & Chassis :-)
Engine is a 2.8 - 6 straight turbo diesel at 0.7 bar with a 3 inch exhaust.
Axles are H233B Nissan axles.
This is one of the first times we 'tested' the Nissan, so excuses the crappy compilation!
In this video there is a limited slip diff in the back. open front.
Currently it has a welded rear, and LSD in the front, also fitted with a stronger nissan Y61 front axle.
For all the treehuggers without proper thinking abilities, this car burns up around 30 liter of diesel a month, how much does your car burn in a month?

My father have one old nissan patrol 3.3cc until now.. The car is still good on road or off-road.. The engine is very powerful.. Please keep old nissan patrol..
You gotta start turning the wheels hard left and right as you're gaining forward momentum so you have more stuff to grab on to instead of just rocking it back and forward by itself. Great video. I miss those days when I used to play in the mud like this.
Suggestion.
1. Open rear diff cover, weld spider gears to one another, close and add oil.
2. Enjoy 33% more traction than open diffs, if more traction is need repeat on front axle for 25% more traction. (you will lose turning radius with both modifications)
OR. Spend money on ARB's or other locking differentials (limited slips work too, but are "limited")
I just remembered those are third member axles, you must remove third member to do this, not just diff covers.
exactly. already modded so not worth a f*ck on road , so why not make it 4x4 for real...
Instead it's better to place lsd diff's makes the riding allot better than 100% sper !

I used to drive Range Rovers, Discovery's and Defenders. Found them to be the most unreliable cars on and off the road. Totally over rated. So I bought a six year old Nissan Patrol Y60 LWB for fun and have never looked back. It's been everywhere and has not broken down once! Riceburner class! :o)

i bought it with a broken cilinderhead, for 750 Euro, verry cheap in this country.
the tires were 950 euro
new fluids and cilinderhead fixed, about 500 euro.
and all the small stuff, in total this car costs around 3500 euro for me, not that expensive i guess :-)
Amazing truck and video.
All that thought and effort, building an exo cage, tube frame, 37's tucked and went out on the maiden voyage (with video) and no lockers. Either lazy, broke or pure BALLS. I'm probably going for the latter. Straight showing off! If we could just figure out how, with that wheel base, how to carry more stuff.
