I worked in jewellery stores we only usually used testers on small stones you can tell using a loop and looking at larger ones if they are fake or not. Rhinestones have no flaws in them.
Carbon, actually is a chemical element, and not a 'material'. Diamond is. Coal and graphite also made of carbon, but they will not pass the test. Because, although they are of the same element carbon, but are different materials with different physical and chemical properties. What the test actually shows you, is that two objects have thermal conductivity very similar to a diamond(which is preset/calibrated by the factory). Nothing more or less.
I’m laughing because he said a lab grown diamond has the exact same properties as a real diamond, that’s because it is a real diamond! Imagine only thinking fruit that is grown in the wild is real fruit and fruit that is grown on a farm is fake fruit that’s how hilarious this is to me. It’s literally the same.
He is like a car salesman who pretends to be an engineer. He also called carbon as a 'material' and not element. My guess he got chunk of coal for his Christmas 😂
There’s such a huge misunderstanding in what’s real or fake, and not many people know about gemstones and the beauty of them & they end up confusing themselves lol.. moissanite and lab grown diamonds… such a controversial topic in what’s real or what’s fake
very good video helped me confirm the truth of a diamond that I have in the rough. and my testers that I have the most. Basic I had already used it and I did not imagine that the battery was lowered very soon and thus I worked for a long time with this device suddenly it stopped turning on. and I realized it was the battery. Buy a new bolvi to test the rough stone and if it was positive. is a diamond. In the rough of an approximate 2000 carats or possibly more, I already tested the hardness and also gave diamond results. I put ultraviolet light on it and it has very little fluorescence, almost nothing. It was all full of dirt but you can see it already. something strange but it is diamond and it could be that it is of very good quality in transparency. What other test could I do to confirm if it is a diamond. I need your help
How to tell that if a real diamond and fake diamond instead of where it compare of a you put it into the sun right there or even just snap of a picture on it right there that if this is real or not real at all especially that some people they say that if a diamond tester are real diamond tester that are of it it could be very confusing that of a who is well manufacture are coming from because everyone knows that it manufacture that it is made in China but sometimes a copycat is that that I mean China that it looks real look the same it looks like the shape that outside everything on it but sometimes I could be a cheaper one instead of a man in China and a divided one is very keep over the highest better ever to sell it or by diamond tester anyway that's the truth anyway because sometimes other people need to know just tell the truth which one it is a real diamond tester to identify
good to know lab-grown diamonds will pass the test. In case a random kid in a mall tries to test mine

Id love to see what clear/invisible teeth would look like.
Yeah but how does it detect thermal conductivity
So if Lab grown diamonds are classed as "real" diamonds, do they hold the same worth as a 'natural' diamond??????
So basically buy a lab grown diamond and save a few bucks
What diamond tester brand and model would you recommend ?
Seems dope
How can I buy this kind of tester?
