Unfortunately the curls (blue gel) may have a protein in it called hydrolyzed quinoa which broke my hair off quite bad....I could be wrong though....we all have different hair....I really wanted to like that gel....
I know for a fact my hair is low porosity because it gets build up really fast and it doesn't take products well unless I use warm water to wake up my hair shaft. When you have to use warm water or heat up your products that's how you know your hair is low porosity.

Please follow licensed hair stylist. Many of you don't even have low porosity hair you have build up that's blocking water from entering

I like the dippity do hair gel. It has aloe juice, which is great for low porosity. Also it's cheap and available at Walmart.
