I’m 65 and I absolutely love Shinedown!! Just saw them on May 6th! Saw them last September at a baseball field in Augusta Georgia! Can’t wait for them to come back I believe in September or August! I think they’re one of the best rock bands, have been for quite a while and will be when I’m older and gray!

This moment is still fresh. This was the first time my husband and I went out into the world post Covid. First time I took a breath and felt the weight start to lift. SO much happened with covid in my family. My daughter was born with a heart defect mid pandemic and had heart surgery December 2020 at 4 months old. She got the last PICU bed, and that was after the hospital had a meeting about it to see if she was 'sick enough' or if they should save it for someone else. My son is disabled and if he got sick, they wouldn't have given him a bed either. My in laws basically stayed inside and we didn't see them for 2 years because of health concerns. Who I thought was my best friend ghosted me 4 months after my daughter's surgery. This song felt like the first ray of sunshine on the other side of everything. Thanks Shinedown!

I'm sure this song hits home for a lot of people --- especially right now given the world we're living in. I know in my case, I've always had anxiety issues, but the last two-three years have destroyed my mental health. Luckily, there are people in my life who help me see the daylight and keep me from completely losing my mind. I'm so grateful for that.

After nearly dying in early 2021 from a double pulmonary embolism on my lungs, then fast forward to my Mom getting lung cancer and suffering 2 strokes, thankfully still alive, but still battling.. it's been the toughest and most challenging part of my life. The friends who immediately stuck to me like glue and have been there and never walked away are the friends I'll cherish for the rest of my life. Brent perfectly encapsulates that in those aforementioned words.

Their 1st opening act was Diamante, they were good. Their 2nd opening act was The Pretty Reckless, definitely very good. Then, it was Shinedown's turn to take the stage, and they were spectacular!!
