I’ve been customizing Vans for a few years now. I go through a lot of paint. I usually make my own stencils which is sometimes excruciating. I would love to have paint and or stencils. I hope you choose me. Would make my Christmas a whole lot better.

So you don’t NEED the transfer paper it’s just better for beginners ?
So some people like the transfer paper (since it makes it a little easier) but some people don't. I would say if you are confident in your ability, you don't need it. Normally I would recommend Transfer paper for more complex stencil designs. Sorry for the ambiguities 😂 but it all kinda depends.
Will the stencils ever come off if you scratch it or should you use iron or heat transfer
Stencils should only be used as a guide. You want to use either alphaflex or Angelus Paints. If you prep and seal properly the paint should not scratch off.
I have heard of people having more issues wit the iron/htv. In my personal experience the htv ones stay on okay. But I still like painted best for more durability.
But they still need to be treated as a work of art.
