I wonder if other train operators could benefit from having new Hitachi IET trains. As GWR, LNER, Hull Trains, Lumo and Avanti West Coast now have them and EMR are to introduce their new Class 810 from next year. And ScotRail who have the Class 385 AT200s.
As the Class 805 Evero are Bi-mode. The Class 807 doesn’t have diesel engines fitted in them and are AC 25kv OHL only. I like what Hitachi are manufacturing these wonderful AT300 IET units. Just like what they have done with the Class 800, Class 801, Class 802 and Class 803.
Very nice, is that all the class 805 Evero built now!? Also, nice to see 156480!
