Yo, what's up, squad? Just touched down in Cebu and took a wild trip through the local slums and traditional market. Met this crazy, drunk woman who was belting out karaoke tunes and even tried to kidnap me - wouldn’t let me go!

That stuff you said is stone called kalboro, is used to ripen the mango or fruits.
Kalamansi, you can actually spit it out. It's not disrespectful for Filipino especially kalamansi, hehehe.
Sayote,chayote or (chayote squash in North America) is vegetable. You have to cook it with chicken or meat either stir fry or soup.

Kalburo is calcium carbide people use that to ripen vegetables although it is prohibited and banned due to food safety concerns
