New Goat's Bluff Skip?

Awhile back I had watched ‪@somyeol804‬ Sled Storm TAS run where he had performed an elaborate way of skipping a lap on Goat's Bluff by snaking to launch himself around the finish line checkpoint zone. It seemed doable, but sense it was in a TAS I figured it was not possible. Turns out it is easier than you would think! Biggest question was, is it faster than the traditional crashing method. I setup a save state from the first checkpoint you must cross and went to testing. Well, the results speak for themselves.
