    SOME THINGS I FORGOT TO MENTION:
    - the vertex snapping / wobbly effect many ps1 games had - I don’t go over this because it’s not really a technique I use myself, but if you want to achieve that there’s a few tutorials in the playlist that can help you :) just wanted to say that in case someone wanted to fully replicate the look
    - when creating image textures In this retro look, 256 x 256 pixels is the recommended size
    - in the download folder with all the assets, there's a final project file with all the animations in place, and there's one with no animations, just all the assets laid out - that way you have the flexibility to play with both!
    happy creating :)

    If the title is referring to making animations that look like it was on a PS1 then here is a lot here in the end result that is much much more advanced and different on how it would look on a PS1. I can give that it’s low poly but that is about it.

    • @DUMBDAYS
      @DUMBDAYS  11 месяцев назад +2

      yup! and most importantly the vertex snapping is missing - the goal here isn’t to perfect the ps1 look as I mention in the video, but if that’s what you’re looking for - there’s some more detailed tutorials in our playlist :)

    How do you make long animations with several different scenes? Are they all in one project or do you render different ones and then assemble them in editing?

    • @DUMBDAYS
      @DUMBDAYS  11 месяцев назад

      Usually if it’s different Scenes then I do different project files ! Either brand new if it’s something complex that would eat up a lot of processing power or I’ll take whatever current project I have, duplicate it, and then build off that , like for this animation in the tutorial - the others I made for the music video I took that original project file, duplicated it, and then added more stuff off in the distance. That way I can go back to the previous scene if needed :)
