- In this video I show you 2 drawknives I bought, and what I had to do to get them useable. Then I demo them by shaping an axe handle. Have you got a drawknife?
you are right about axes being a crazy hobby, it is hard to stop collecting once you start ha ha ., a great video.

Not got one yet been thing to knock one up out of scrap. I use a jigsaw and a Shinto rasp atm takes shape real quick.
Saw @Voicesofjake using a router table to do handles! Interesting how many ways it can be done! My first two I used a spoke shave and sandpaper, took all day😂😂

The many antique markets in Leominster have lots of old tools including draw knives. The edge guide looks good I will have to get one. Is Sam the guy from Presteigne way on the Old Radnor Rd?
