I would like to see a time-lapse video of that dry agin process. 1 steak, 1 camera, 1 frame per day, and time-lapse it. That would be AWESOME!
Yesss
35 days would go by in maybe a second that way (depending on the framerate film rate). You'd need to calculate the # of frames based on how long you want the video to be.
Guga, I only found your channel about 6 months ago... You became my reference, wanna thank you for your work and experiments, innovations, crazy stuff, whatever. Am cooking better steaks thanks to you, all the way in Romania, better side dishes etc. Always an enjoyable and relaxing video from you. Kroger and Brookshires have a weekly sale on steak that changes every Tuesday. Last week it was Choice NY Strip for $5.99/lb. This week it’s Choice T-Bone for $5.77/lb. I have the butcher cut me 20lbs of it in 2” steaks. You can get awesome meat for cheap. The strip was so tender it was almost like Prime Filet.

Hey Guga! So that restaurant Mu Ramen isn’t really a fancy fine dining restaurant, they specialized in different ramens and japansen cuisine. However, due to the covid pandemic they were forced to shut down and no longer in business :( 😭

guga i had bought 2 American wagyu steaks that looked like pork chops and let me tell you, it was amazing! was worth the 120 for the 2 steaks i bought.

I feel like by this point you need to go to the faroe islands and try their local delicacies: whole raw carcasses hung up to dry in sheds for a long long time.
