- We continue our way North along the Pacific coast and drive through the cool area of Catavena to stay in San Quintin (Kin-teen) We have taken some HEAT on how to say this.
San Quentin is an area we were told not to wild camp in (per a fee locals and also travelers). So we took a the advice and found an RV park that was a nice break and quieter than we expected. It is actually January 5th as we post this. We lost Klaus a week ago to simple old age ad its crazy to see him in this video running around like a 7 year old dog. He really thrived in Baja. We remember him having some hip issues before we left and contemplating if doing this trip was even a good idea. We had a pact that if he struggled we'd go home. It's obvious now, watching him in this video that he saved all his strength and energy for the beach. What a great last year he had.
This video is also fun to watch because I finally get Brian to do a face mask with me. Absolutely hilarious to watch after the fact.

We stay in the San Quintin campsite the first time in Baja in 1995! Great place. Loved watching the fishermen go out at dawn in the morning.

Deep fried tacos in Baja are called tacos dorado , not to be confused with the fish but the same name. Great video

Thats cool. How is is this time of year? We were down there May and June so we have been back for a while now. I drop videos once a week to keep the channel steady. We only have 1 left after this before we crossed the boarder. Maybe a re-cap video of all the important stuff. In the future we will probably drop videos as we go. Welcome home -
