    Great tip Glenn! That is exactly how I set the hook on a T-rig and rarely have them come off on the way to the boat. Sometimes there's nothing there when I set the hook, but that's probably a different issue...:)

    I fish mostly at Duesen Park in Harris county which holds some very large bass. The methoddescribed in this video will have a great effect on my fishing. I can set the hook, sometimes lose the fish because I am not setting it as described. Next time at the lake I will defantly use this method & I believe my fishing ( with a little practice ) will be much better. A very good video that ever fisherman ( novice or pro ) should look at & use it as a guide to better our fishing experience. To thanks for the very good advice.

    Great tips-setting the hook comes with experience. Kinda like when use to fishing for catfish on the bottom with no cork. Setting hook comes with experience. You just know when but this video helps with reminders on how it’s done.

    I'll take any extra tips I can get on hooksets and texas rigging. Pitching and flipping are on my "practice" list this season and there's plenty of areas on South Lake Champlain where I know a texas rig will get big bites. Hopefully, this will help me land a few! Thanks for the tip, Glenn!
