The term “exotic” is subjective/relative. When I went to the Middle East as a black woman with locks I was considered exotic and received compliments from both men and women. My husband is from Sri Lanka and he’s considered exotic here in the U.S. So from my experience “exotic “ is anything/anyone that’s different from the usual.
Thank God we don't look like what we've been through. This woman has been through a tough journey. It can add insult to injury when people look at you and think they know your story. We're all on the journey. God bless this woman. Great episode.

I was hired on as a black nail tech at a Vietnamese owned nail salon. I was so surprised to see that my “Vietnamese fam” had come from such humble beginnings and were battling some of the exact same generational family patterns as the black community is better known for. Was literally like “dang y’all got black folks problems” 🤣 And yes one of my good Vietnamese fam has 2 boys out of wedlock from 2 different fathers. She’s a fantastic mother and has her own shop and house now. You just don’t know what people have been through. Linda is beautiful does not look her age or what she’s been through and her sons are grown! Her story resonates with mine in similar ways; maybe not as intense! I felt her when she said she’s been a workaholic all her life trying to gain her own independence without using her looks and/body to get ahead! The Holy Spirit really has a way of drawing a line FOR YOU when you’re a woman of God! Lol I’m sure Linda will finally have her happily ever after soon and she definitely invited to the cookout!
Black women please stop waiting around for or chasing down Black men. If marriage is a priority for you, open up your options and thoroughly vet other races of men but please keep the bar set high.

It goes back to White supremacy and the buy in that dark skinned women are not good enough - not feminine enough - and now that an African American woman period is not good enough no matter the skin tone. It’s very sad and it’s entrenched in many families. The sad part about this is they lack knowledge and fail to realize that the Fulani and the Tuareg and the Ethiopians and Egyptians and many ethnic groups within Africa look what they call “exotic” which is ridiculous terminology and thinking. My prayer is that our people will be liberated from this type of thinking, but sadly I don’t see it happening anytime soon.

I would have liked for the conversation to have expanded to Ms Ngo's spiritual walk since leaving her grandmother's home. Usually, that's included in your other guests interviews. I don't think that we in the Christian community have a chance to frequently hear publically from Asian Christians' perspective. I appreciate her talking a bit about her upbringing. This episode seemed lighthearted in comparison to others. I enjoyed Linda's joyful spirit and would have liked to dig deeper into who she is and how she is dating. As a woman of color, I think everyone becomes exotic when dating outside of one's culture. Also, I don't see & feel a significant amount of support from men of color. I'm raising a son and although he may choose outside of his race, I'm raising him to love, appreciate and cherish his culture first. To see the beauty in our curly coily hair and our dark skin. Black women have to be strong and sometimes we may come off as "too strong" because oftentimes we are left carrying our families. Operating in roles that are designed for men through the grace of God. As an educated black woman and single mom, I can speak for some...we look forward to submission. It's seemless when we have learned to submit to God first. I find there is amazing value and protection in submission. My prayer is that God will raise up more black men who have eyes to see the value that we possess.

Hey 👋 Laterras, the Bible says as Christians we should not be indulging in sex before marriage so why would you suggest sex to this woman? Is it a case of accepting the word of God fully or when it suits us?
She had a great personality and I think the episode revealed how often people miss out on great encounters and experiences because we are so stuck on external versus internal. I appreciated Laterras is committed to marrying a black woman and his podcast proudly speaks on Black Love because any Asian person that wants to can have a Asian Love, Mixed Love, Hispanic Love podcast if they want representation. I feel too often other groups continue to ride the backs of blacks and always expects inclusion from Blacks but they are 100% dismissive of us in their lives! Asians benefitted 100% more from the Black Lives Protest and work than even black people, they got a Anit-hate bill while Blacks still do not but are they out there fighting for our Bill since they got theirs (NO) they are not! LGBTQ has benefitted 100% from our civil rights fights and committment and have been given rights galore, while we got Juneteenth as a National Holiday but notice how all companies have a LGBTQ logo they proudly display during their month, but what do they do for Black History not one dang thing. I found this young lady to be great and awesome I'm hoping she will start a mixed family podcast, I'm just totally over everyone feeling entitled to be included in our work but they don't ever do anything to promote us! I'm a Cornell University Certified DE&I professional and I have to really let these other groups in workshops know BLACK folks have done enough for your benefits, so don't expect not one more thing from us when we have yet to see you sacrifce for us and we honestly benefit. I'm all for people loving whoever they choose to love but I'm not for people thinking because you have mixed babies with Black people, we as a cultural have to look out for you!

I absolutely unequivocally hate that term Exotic. There is nothing more Exotic then a full blooded black woman! There's no other race of women that look act feel like a Nubian Mahagony woman.
Exotic means different depending on the person using it. As a black man I don’t find black women exotic because I grew up around them but a white man that grew up around mostly white women would view you as exotic because you’re different than what he’s accustomed to.
Even though it can mean different things, depending on the situation.....I agree....most of the time, in the US, if someone uses that term, they are referring to someone who is of a mixed /biracial background
Not to get all the way off track with this but I strongly believe that a lot of people got the wrong meaning of “Exotic”, I Truly believe and know that Exotic is Very beautiful and Very different , unlike any other. I believe that beautiful black women and men are the REAL EXOTICS, the beauty in Afros alone are unlike ANY other hair texture….💕☀️

Black men date out the most especially if they make over 100k in that group they are the least likely to get married or get into relationships .. the marriages don’t last with black women or with any other race .. the relationships that last the longest is white man black women…Black men leave everyone baby mothers they create the same dynamic no matter what race they choose

She is a whole vibe! I really enjoyed this interview. PS, One thing that struck me when you were describing what you were offering her as a friends with benefits friend, it felt like prostitution. I know that wasn’t your intention but that’s how I felt when I heard you recap it to her. If someone I considered a friend offered me a FWB situation the way you offered it to her, I would’ve rejected it too. Funny thing is, if you had just offered her the FWB without the financials, you would’ve have been having a much different conversation with her.
Very intriging episode. Every culture has dynamics that contribute to how we view relationships. Getting whole and knowing who we are and what we need is key to having quality relationships and marriages that last and thrive.
I like her but it always floors me how women of other races just cannot understand the beauty and necessity of black love. Black love does not erase the potential of you having love or having love with a black man. It's just that black love has been under attack in this country through social engineering for hundreds of years, so we need to preserve it and protect it and promote it at all costs. It's okay to just not have an opinion on it because you don't have a dog in the fight. It's not a part of everyone's experience and just because you're not at the center of that experience doesn't mean that there's something wrong or off about it. Celebrating black love is absolutely necessary and it is unique and deeply beautiful. I have very much enjoyed her insight and transparency.
And this is the beginning to an answer to my wish/prayer. I literally commented in the comments' section last Thursday (after the IG Live was posted), that I hoped we would have the opportunity to hear from Blasian couples, and from Latinx and Black couples (since this season is about having uncomfortable conversations, per Laterras). I love that some attention is given to interracial couples this season, and with this podcast. Adding some intercultural couples would be great as well 🙏 (Black couples, who are from different cultures, and/or from different countries as well, i.e. American and African, American and Jamaican, etc...). God is starting to answer my wishes/prayers. 33:15 is a perfect place to show why you can't sleep around, especially with women who are broken. She says it jokingly, but I perceive she truly felt used. I know a lot of women like this...heck I've been there. It's a spirit of rejection. Sounds like something she's dealt with on and off throughout her life with family and relationships.
I agree! Often Men say they want a Sexationship, and we as women go along with it knowing the feeling we get afterwards is a feeling of being used. Our nature wants more. Exactly. The feeling of rejection hits hard, especially at a young age. If we don't heal and know that one person's rejection does not define us, we can easily search for love in the wrong places. Ex: drugs, alcoholism, various men's bedrooms, etc.
Black women are the only race that looks different from each other. They are extremely gorgeous and look better as they age. Most races are always trying to look like a black woman . And black women age well.
Trust me if a man only wants you for friends with benefits your worth is being diminished on both sides. Regardless of what's on offer it's diminishing and will end in chaos. You cannot use another person to heal from another.
I really appreciate that she listened to herself and understood that it was not a good idea to get into a situationship. When we're broken, we attract situations like this because we're open and loving at our own expense. Because of past trauma, we don't have the boundaries or alarms that we should have and people feel comfortable proposing things to us that would hurt us, ultimately. That's a great takeaway from this episode.
Ironically she has children by two different black men. Consequently who did not keep their commitment to the relationship. And as a result she's just a baby's mama who's looking to be in a committed relationship 🤔
I can relate to her on many levels. As a Vietnamese American, my parents never gave me the opportunity or sense to feel I belong. I’ve been rejected by my family and never felt welcomed or loved. I have to present myself as this person or have to have this kind of money to be able to fit in. The Asian family roots is toxic. I will have a platform for Asian to speak up one day. Plus there were so many really deep sub-topics that were covered with an ease and it’s great to see that type of friendship. Yup Black women are exotic! Me, I'm Haitian 🇭🇹 from the Caribbean, also called West Indian, also part of the Hispanic culture. Latin people are like our cousins because our ancestors helped different Latin countries gained their Independence. I speak different languages. Influenced by French culture; was raised multiculturally. Educated in different environments. Like many other Black women, we can stand on our own in the boardroom, courtroom, classroom, corporate world, entrepreneurial world, non-profit efforts, parenthood, and the hood all at the same time. Wow you never really know someone’s story, I was not expecting her to say that her father shot and killed her mom when she was 3. That’s a traumatic experience to live with and I pray she is healed from that thought and memory. But as far as why I think some black men want “exotic” women is because that’s how they were trained. I think since the beginning of time black people have been conditioned to be against one another and with the addition of social media it doesn’t make it any better. They are taught that black women aren’t good enough and there’s always something better. But I don’t believe that all black men think this way. There’s nothing wrong with dating outside of your race as long as you’re not doing it because you hate your own race.

First off I appreciate your love for BW. Second types like her are interesting. She has a nice personality but it’s clear she is considered a reject of her race. Her men don’t value her and everyone knows the self of BP is in the ground. I would have like for your to expand on why she exclusively dates BM. Socially the would be considered beneath her. Why is still dating men, safe to assume no marriage was involved, who is socially not on her level vs someone from her own culture. IR dating focuses too much on the physical but no one questions why these people don’t date for character, integrity or like minds. You are the only relationship podcast I watch.

This was tough for me! I was in a relationship with someone that was married to an Asian woman. The comparisons were non stop. It triggered something knowing you (LT) were more honest and received more honesty in this connection. An almost "sexuation" with someone that had the least amount of spiritual experience (that I've heard on the podcast) than any other guest. 🤷🏽♀️ Just keeping it LIT. Hi there, I think with this season focused on Interracial relationship was initially the start, but honestly, if you truly look, You'll see plenty of platforms with an open invitation. I had plenty of my African American friends on my shows when I was in radio and tv.

Unpopular opinion: She was my least favorite guest out of all seasons🫣🥴 I really liked & appreciated her honesty but she said a couple of things that just rubbed me wrong as a black woman particularly her feeling left out of you celebrating black love. I could expound on why but it would be too long. Overall, she seems like a nice person & I wish her the best.

I also have mixed feelings about this episode but I will say that she is real comfortable and said some things that didn’t settle well. I really just wished that black men and woman could explore love that no one else can infiltrate.

I have a question and I'm hoping some BM will reply. Why is it that when non black women hear a BM say that they are looking for a BW, do they say what about us, mixed love and she went on to say "mutt" love. It's always weird to me because if a wyte man said I want a wyte woman/wife or if an Asian man said I only want an Asian woman/wife, that would not have been the response. That is normal, right? It's just so weird to me when I see that. Or is it me? I mean are these non black women so comfortable in the fact that BM prefer them and make it known to the world that they do? Asking him why and actually told him he was racist because of it. It's just a weird dynamic. No one has a second thought if a WM said he only wanted a WW...there would be no response, no thoughts on that. Because that's is the way it should be. That's his natural counterpart! I don't get it that is why I asked that. It confuses me lol.

I will forever hold in my heart the day I heard a reality show producer saw that the BW was the hardest to find a mate for. That the BW wanted to be paired with a BM but had a hard time finding a BM who wanted to be paired with a BW. That the BM specifically desired any woman outside of a BW. I don’t want to rag on ww, so I’ll say “not all”, but they need to feel like they are better than bw. They have always been placed above us and they appreciate the hierarchy. They protect the hierarchy. So, when a bm says that a bw is best for him, it goes against the hierarchy. All is right with the world as long as the bw is seen as the lowest of the low - someone has to be right? It doesn’t matter if Asian, Hispanic or white women are ever praised because every woman knows that even if one of those women is appreciated more than her she’s still better than a bw. But, if a bw is pulled from the bottom and praised, now who’s at the bottom?? So, since her position in the hierarchy is at risk, she has to push back and make sure the the bw is never promoted…. I also feel that bm have praised other women so much and boosted their ego so much that they feel entitled to bm. They know that the bm is pretty much theirs now, so when they hear a traitor bm dare to not want them they get in their feelings….it’s a bunch of low vibrational nonsense, and bw should divest from all the foolery.

I really enjoyed this episode and I love the transparency!!! The one thing I disagree with is when Linda describes her children as "black" and that's just because I see mixed people as mixed which acknowledges both parents. Again terrific episode- New subscriber :)
Ok first of all love her!!! And totally agree the topic of discussion was genius. It’s something that we have all wondered but never get to hear what the “exotic” girls think about being represented in such a stereotypical way.

This was great! I have laughed so much from this episode. I have to admit when I first saw the title, I kept scrolling because years ago, I was in love with a guy that told me he wanted to marry an exotic woman and I’m a Black woman. His statement left me feeling unsure of my place in that mans life. I happen to look mixed-raced so I’ve always been told that I looked exotic whatever that means, but Im a proud black woman❤️

I would’ve loved to hear more about her family accepting her father back into the family after murdering her mother. It’s one thing to get out of prison, but for him to move back into the house and take over your space…that’s deep. Interesting past couple episodes but again what rubs me as seriously dishonest is these non black women who are with black men consistently appear not to have any black female friends. Issa red flag to me. And I would have preferred a black man who thinks other races are exotics and better to explain it, not the other race themselves.
Hi Dear.. I'm not 100% sure what you're saying or insinuating, but speaking for me, most of my best friends and black females that I call them Sisters because I love them as family. So that's why it's hurtful and confusing when the whole "black against Asian or vice versa thing" was happening..

I have experienced as a black women a lot of white women who use black women as backboards/bait to get to black men only and not have actual genuine friends with black women or feel comfortable with knowing they are a block to black women for relationships. I never knew this until I experienced it personally. I am glad to know you do have black female friends.

Really just getting into or being introduced to Dear Future Wifey. This was one of the best episodes I’ve seen. So enlightening. Opening our eyes to the views of a woman from another race. The interview was good, however i'm actually disappointed once again in Laterras, he propositioned her for a situationship. He does the same thing these grown boys do out here in the streets, trying to use a womens body/sex for a stress relieve to cure pain... i'm so glad she thought about it and declined. and I hope she doesn't do that in the future with any other man.
She declined after a month or two of inclining HIM. Only, after she caught feeling (of not wanting him to have bad feelings) did the sexuationship end. Again, their relationship was before he took his vow of absence
Ultimately, they were two consenting adults. He didn’t pressure or deceive her into their agreement. In regards to being disappointed by the Host, we need to keep our parasocial connections in check. We don’t know him personally to be that invested.

I enjoyed her transparency, she really went through a lot and doesn't look like it. However, what I wish you had mentioned is that a lot of black men like the way women of other ethnicities look. I think black men like the hair, meaning length and texture as well as skin complexion of other ethnic women. It just seems that a lot of black men feel women of other races are more attractive and maybe more compliant/easier to get along with.

The term “exotic” is subjective/relative. When I went to the Middle East as a black woman with locks I was considered exotic and received compliments from both men and women. My husband is from Sri Lanka and he’s considered exotic here in the U.S. So from my experience “exotic “ is anything/anyone that’s different from the usual.

I was hired on as a black nail tech at a Vietnamese owned nail salon. I was so surprised to see that my “Vietnamese fam” had come from such humble beginnings and were battling some of the exact same generational family patterns as the black community is better known for. Was literally like “dang y’all got black folks problems” 🤣 And yes one of my good Vietnamese fam has 2 boys out of wedlock from 2 different fathers. She’s a fantastic mother and has her own shop and house now. You just don’t know what people have been through. Linda is beautiful does not look her age or what she’s been through and her sons are grown! Her story resonates with mine in similar ways; maybe not as intense! I felt her when she said she’s been a workaholic all her life trying to gain her own independence without using her looks and/body to get ahead! The Holy Spirit really has a way of drawing a line FOR YOU when you’re a woman of God! Lol I’m sure Linda will finally have her happily ever after soon and she definitely invited to the cookout!

It goes back to White supremacy and the buy in that dark skinned women are not good enough - not feminine enough - and now that an African American woman period is not good enough no matter the skin tone. It’s very sad and it’s entrenched in many families. The sad part about this is they lack knowledge and fail to realize that the Fulani and the Tuareg and the Ethiopians and Egyptians and many ethnic groups within Africa look what they call “exotic” which is ridiculous terminology and thinking. My prayer is that our people will be liberated from this type of thinking, but sadly I don’t see it happening anytime soon.

I would have liked for the conversation to have expanded to Ms Ngo's spiritual walk since leaving her grandmother's home. Usually, that's included in your other guests interviews. I don't think that we in the Christian community have a chance to frequently hear publically from Asian Christians' perspective. I appreciate her talking a bit about her upbringing. This episode seemed lighthearted in comparison to others. I enjoyed Linda's joyful spirit and would have liked to dig deeper into who she is and how she is dating.
As a woman of color, I think everyone becomes exotic when dating outside of one's culture. Also, I don't see & feel a significant amount of support from men of color. I'm raising a son and although he may choose outside of his race, I'm raising him to love, appreciate and cherish his culture first. To see the beauty in our curly coily hair and our dark skin. Black women have to be strong and sometimes we may come off as "too strong" because oftentimes we are left carrying our families. Operating in roles that are designed for men through the grace of God. As an educated black woman and single mom, I can speak for some...we look forward to submission. It's seemless when we have learned to submit to God first. I find there is amazing value and protection in submission. My prayer is that God will raise up more black men who have eyes to see the value that we possess.

She had a great personality and I think the episode revealed how often people miss out on great encounters and experiences because we are so stuck on external versus internal. I appreciated Laterras is committed to marrying a black woman and his podcast proudly speaks on Black Love because any Asian person that wants to can have a Asian Love, Mixed Love, Hispanic Love podcast if they want representation.
I feel too often other groups continue to ride the backs of blacks and always expects inclusion from Blacks but they are 100% dismissive of us in their lives! Asians benefitted 100% more from the Black Lives Protest and work than even black people, they got a Anit-hate bill while Blacks still do not but are they out there fighting for our Bill since they got theirs (NO) they are not!
LGBTQ has benefitted 100% from our civil rights fights and committment and have been given rights galore, while we got Juneteenth as a National Holiday but notice how all companies have a LGBTQ logo they proudly display during their month, but what do they do for Black History not one dang thing.
I found this young lady to be great and awesome I'm hoping she will start a mixed family podcast, I'm just totally over everyone feeling entitled to be included in our work but they don't ever do anything to promote us! I'm a Cornell University Certified DE&I professional and I have to really let these other groups in workshops know BLACK folks have done enough for your benefits, so don't expect not one more thing from us when we have yet to see you sacrifce for us and we honestly benefit. I'm all for people loving whoever they choose to love but I'm not for people thinking because you have mixed babies with Black people, we as a cultural have to look out for you!

I absolutely unequivocally hate that term Exotic. There is nothing more Exotic then a full blooded black woman! There's no other race of women that look act feel like a Nubian Mahagony woman.

Exotic means different depending on the person using it. As a black man I don’t find black women exotic because I grew up around them but a white man that grew up around mostly white women would view you as exotic because you’re different than what he’s accustomed to.
To me, the term is misogynistic as women are not cars or commodities.
Even though it can mean different things, depending on the situation.....I agree....most of the time, in the US, if someone uses that term, they are referring to someone who is of a mixed /biracial background
Not to get all the way off track with this but I strongly believe that a lot of people got the wrong meaning of “Exotic”, I Truly believe and know that Exotic is Very beautiful and Very different , unlike any other. PS, One thing that struck me when you were describing what you were offering her as a friends with benefits friend, it felt like prostitution. I know that wasn’t your intention but that’s how I felt when I heard you recap it to her. If someone I considered a friend offered me a FWB situation the way you offered it to her, I would’ve rejected it too. Funny thing is, if you had just offered her the FWB without the financials, you would’ve have been having a much different conversation with her.
Very intriging episode. Every culture has dynamics that contribute to how we view relationships. Getting whole and knowing who we are and what we need is key to having quality relationships and marriages that last and thrive.

I like her but it always floors me how women of other races just cannot understand the beauty and necessity of black love. Black love does not erase the potential of you having love or having love with a black man. It's just that black love has been under attack in this country through social engineering for hundreds of years, so we need to preserve it and protect it and promote it at all costs. It's okay to just not have an opinion on it because you don't have a dog in the fight. It's not a part of everyone's experience and just because you're not at the center of that experience doesn't mean that there's something wrong or off about it. Celebrating black love is absolutely necessary and it is unique and deeply beautiful. I have very much enjoyed her insight and transparency.

I literally commented in the comments' section last Thursday (after the IG Live was posted), that I hoped we would have the opportunity to hear from Blasian couples, and from Latinx and Black couples (since this season is about having uncomfortable conversations, per Laterras). I love that some attention is given to interracial couples this season, and with this podcast. Adding some intercultural couples would be great as well 🙏 (Black couples, who are from different cultures, and/or from different countries as well, i.e. American and African, American and Jamaican, etc...).
God is starting to answer my wishes/prayers. Exactly. The feeling of rejection hits hard, especially at a young age. If we don't heal and know that one person's rejection does not define us, we can easily search for love in the wrong places. Ex: drugs, alcoholism, various men's bedrooms, etc.

Black women are the only race that looks different from each other. They are extremely gorgeous and look better as they age. Most races are always trying to look like a black woman . And black women age well.
Trust me if a man only wants you for friends with benefits your worth is being diminished on both sides. Regardless of what's on offer it's diminishing and will end in chaos. You cannot use another person to heal from another.
I really appreciate that she listened to herself and understood that it was not a good idea to get into a situationship. When we're broken, we attract situations like this because we're open and loving at our own expense. Because of past trauma, we don't have the boundaries or alarms that we should have and people feel comfortable proposing things to us that would hurt us, ultimately. That's a great takeaway from this episode.

Ironically she has children by two different black men. Consequently who did not keep their commitment to the relationship. And as a result she's just a baby's mama who's looking to be in a committed relationship 🤔
I can relate to her on many levels. As a Vietnamese American, my parents never gave me the opportunity or sense to feel I belong. I’ve been rejected by my family and never felt welcomed or loved. I have to present myself as this person or have to have this kind of money to be able to fit in. The Asian family roots is toxic. I will have a platform for Asian to speak up one day. Me, I'm Haitian 🇭🇹 from the Caribbean, also called West Indian, also part of the Hispanic culture. Latin people are like our cousins because our ancestors helped different Latin countries gained their Independence. I speak different languages. Influenced by French culture; was raised multiculturally. Educated in different environments. Like many other Black women, we can stand on our own in the boardroom, courtroom, classroom, corporate world, entrepreneurial world, non-profit efforts, parenthood, and the hood all at the same time.

“Exotic” just means something that’s different from you, something you’re not used to seeing everyday. That’s all.
When did the definition of exotic transfer to common place? These same men will try to make anyone a black Queen.
Wow you never really know someone’s story, I was not expecting her to say that her father shot and killed her mom when she was 3. That’s a traumatic experience to live with and I pray she is healed from that thought and memory.
But as far as why I think some black men want “exotic” women is because that’s how they were trained. I think since the beginning of time black people have been conditioned to be against one another and with the addition of social media it doesn’t make it any better. They are taught that black women aren’t good enough and there’s always something better. But I don’t believe that all black men think this way.
There’s nothing wrong with dating outside of your race as long as you’re not doing it because you hate your own race.
Nobody trained black men like that…they are not dogs, they can reason for themselves…the excuse is becoming lame!

First off I appreciate your love for BW. Second types like her are interesting. She has a nice personality but it’s clear she is considered a reject of her race. Her men don’t value her and everyone knows the self of BP is in the ground. I would have like for your to expand on why she exclusively dates BM. Socially the would be considered beneath her. Why is still dating men, safe to assume no marriage was involved, who is socially not on her level vs someone from her own culture. IR dating focuses too much on the physical but no one questions why these people don’t date for character, integrity or like minds. You are the only relationship podcast I watch.
I also appreciate his honesty. He gave a look into the mind of a man. We often demonize men for proposing situationships, but it can be coming from different places.

This was tough for me! I was in a relationship with someone that was married to an Asian woman. The comparisons were non stop.

Why is it that when non black women hear a BM say that they are looking for a BW, do they say what about us, mixed love and she went on to say "mutt" love. Asking him why and actually told him he was racist because of it. It's just a weird dynamic. No one has a second thought if a WM said he only wanted a WW...there would be no response, no thoughts on that. Because that's is the way it should be. That's his natural counterpart! I don't get it that is why I asked that. It confuses me lol.
@@Saggie1111 o my. I think that may have made my head spin. It was always a thing in my heart bc of where I grew up. The BM mostly preferred WW so it has always been a sore spot for me & the "norm". I will forever hold in my heart the day I heard a reality show producer saw that the BW was the hardest to find a mate for. That the BW wanted to be paired with a BM but had a hard time finding a BM who wanted to be paired with a BW. That the BM specifically desired any woman outside of a BW. The fact that a BM can be called out for desiring his natural counterpart makes me sick to my stomach but breaks my heart to know in my instance it is reality. It's not just WW either. It's anything but BW
I don’t want to rag on ww, so I’ll say “not all”, but they need to feel like they are better than bw. They have always been placed above us and they appreciate the hierarchy. They protect the hierarchy. So, when a bm says that a bw is best for him, it goes against the hierarchy. All is right with the world as long as the bw is seen as the lowest of the low - someone has to be right? It doesn’t matter if Asian, Hispanic or white women are ever praised because every woman knows that even if one of those women is appreciated more than her she’s still better than a bw. But, if a bw is pulled from the bottom and praised, now who’s at the bottom?? So, since her position in the hierarchy is at risk, she has to push back and make sure the the bw is never promoted….
I also feel that bm have praised other women so much and boosted their ego so much that they feel entitled to bm. They know that the bm is pretty much theirs now, so when they hear a traitor bm dare to not want them they get in their feelings….it’s a bunch of low vibrational nonsense, and bw should divest from all the foolery.

This was great! I have laughed so much from this episode. I have to admit when I first saw the title, I kept scrolling because years ago, I was in love with a guy that told me he wanted to marry an exotic woman and I’m a Black woman. His statement left me feeling unsure of my place in that mans life. I happen to look mixed-raced so I’ve always been told that I looked exotic whatever that means, but Im a proud black woman❤️

Interesting past couple episodes but again what rubs me as seriously dishonest is these non black women who are with black men consistently appear not to have any black female friends. Issa red flag to me. And I would have preferred a black man who thinks other races are exotics and better to explain it, not the other race themselves.
Hi Dear.. I'm not 100% sure what you're saying or insinuating, but speaking for me, most of my best friends and black females that I call them Sisters because I love them as family. So that's why it's hurtful and confusing when the whole "black against Asian or vice versa thing" was happening..

@@Ngolimittv thats excellent to know. Based on what I saw with the previous podcast with an interracial couple, she did not appear to have any black female friends based on her social media. I have experienced as a black women a lot of white women who use black women as backboards/bait to get to black men only and not have actual genuine friends with black women or feel comfortable with knowing they are a block to black women for relationships. I never knew this until I experienced it personally. I am glad to know you do have black female friends.

I appreciated this episode and loved Linda's openess and humor. I enjoyed hearing the "exotic " conversation from her perspective. I think you guys did a good job of talking about the reasons you guys saw. Exotic still pretty much means different, Bw have been exotic to wm since the beginning. Love who you want to because you love that person for who they are. I always cringe when I hear bm say they only date, outside. I'm like you don't love your mom? Anyway Thanks bro for sharing a vulnerable moment in your life showing that you can make bad decisions and then recover Thanks to God's grace. Really just getting into or being introduced to Dear Future Wifey. This was one of the best episodes I’ve seen. So enlightening. Opening our eyes to the views of a woman from another race. In the end, we are all just people, experiencing the same ups and downs in life no matter the color of our skin.

The interview was good, however i'm actually disappointed once again in Laterras, he propositioned her for a situationship. He does the same thing these grown boys do out here in the streets, trying to use a womens body/sex for a stress relieve to cure pain... i'm so glad she thought about it and declined. and I hope she doesn't do that in the future with any other man.
She declined after a month or two of inclining HIM. Only, after she caught feeling (of not wanting him to have bad feelings) did the sexuationship end.

Ultimately, they were two consenting adults. He didn’t pressure or deceive her into their agreement. In regards to being disappointed by the Host, we need to keep our parasocial connections in check. We don’t know him personally to be that invested.

I enjoyed her transparency, she really went through a lot and doesn't look like it. However, what I wish you had mentioned is that a lot of black men like the way women of other ethnicities look. I think black men like the hair, meaning length and texture as well as skin complexion of other ethnic women. It just seems that a lot of black men feel women of other races are more attractive and maybe more compliant/easier to get along with.
EXOTIC WOMEN 🤔In every culture , country and Continent there are beautiful women , that being said the phrase EXOTIC best describes beauty that is different than your personal norms . Personally I find myself drawn to Black Women , their full figures, full lips and ability to carry most all hair styles sets them above any other women on the planet and they have that Melanin in a vast range from the lightest to the darkest found in places like Sudan 🌺👸🏿🌺 This is only my humble opinion . 😊

I love how comedy is included in this video. I also love how straightforward both of you are.
