When we pray for things and God gives it to us we have to honor it and not take it for granted. See it as a gift not as a burden. I literally prayed that a hour before I watched this podcast! I asked God to reveal the parts of me to me that need to be changed, tweaked, or removed so that I can walk in my destiny of wife! This truly blessed me. This encouraged my heart and I can totally relate to Santia about being at a point in my life where I am not wasting more time with these dudes that want situationships, part-time relationships or whatever, but the end goal is not a lifetime commitment in a covenant setting. Love this interview. It shows how you have to be so intentional when you're praying for God to Bless you with your future spouse. I divorced in 2011 after 15 years of marriage. I got engaged again in 2018 but, broke off that engagement because I knew this was not the person God intended to be my husband. At the end of last year it hit me, God said you need to stop trying to have control of this search for your husband and trust me. When I tell you I'm being intentional this year and trusting God! I have cut people off because I'm trusting that I will meet my husband this year! This interview gives me hope and was a Blessing to me!

I'm LOVING this season's theme: this year has been painful, challenging, depressing, and full of tears. I can use some inspiration and some testimonies that will contribute to my faith in God's plans for me to be renewed, and strengthened. Thank you for this season's theme, Laterras. This truly blessed me. This encouraged my heart and I can totally relate to Santia about being at a point in my life where I am not wasting more time with these dudes that want situationships, part-time relationships or whatever, but the end goal is not a lifetime commitment in a covenant setting. I am not bitter and still believe in love. What God has for me is for me. It will happen in His perfect timing.

Love this interview. It shows how you have to be so intentional when you're praying for God to Bless you with your future spouse. I divorced in 2011 after 15 years of marriage. I got engaged again in 2018 but, broke off that engagement because I knew this was not the person God intended to be my husband. At the end of last year it hit me, God said you need to stop trying to have control of this search for your husband and trust me. When I tell you I'm being intentional this year and trusting God! I have cut people off because I'm trusting that I will meet my husband this year! This interview gives me hope and was a Blessing to me!

I too had that thought to start writing to him. I decided to keep those letters private however my followers know I’m doing it :)

One thing stood out to me is “showing up with your authentic self”, no pretense, no extra, just you. Wow! This is my first time hearing of either of them and I'm loving this story I'm hearing. I have chills! It all makes so much sense and lets me know I'm not crazy! That these sorts of things can happen! The power of prayer, writing the vision, and being connected to God!
Years ago I saw a post someone shared writing to his future wife. I don't even remember who he was, I just thought it was a sweet gesture. It then encouraged me to write to my future husband. Before I was writing in my journal about the qualities I wanted and praying for my future husband. I was sharing my thoughts online as well to encourage others connected to me. But I never wrote directly to him. I shared the post thinking it was sweet. Others shared it thinking it was lame, thirsty, and corny...etc. Sadly, by some people who were married at the time and are now married. This was before 'Pick Me' was a thing..lol. And it (among other things) discouraged me, but I would periodically write in my journal. Now I will write again with intention. Maybe I'll be able to share my story one day when I meet my 'Him'.

I always say I want God to confirm my son's wife to me before he even proposes, when the mom sent that text I was crying tears.
