    Hi Geoff! My mom is from Holland and we are now in Canada. We used to find these cookies in the grocery store every now and then but we can no longer find them. I am trying these tonight. They look exactly like the ones she used to get us. Thank you for the recipe!

      Hi Jaquelynn, I do hope you enjoy them and that they are similar to what you remember. I usually visit Canada every year, but not this year due to the current crisis. When there, in Nepean(Ottawa) I always visit Dutch Grocery & Giftware which sells some lovely foods not available generally.

    Hola Geoff, while I am usually suspect of people named Geoff, it must stem from being punished as a child for grammar errors and spelling mistakes. I am sure you understand why Jeff vs Geoff makes me suspicious. But I dropped my guard for you and have had my heart melted by “the European Bob Ross of RUclips cooking” as we call you around our home. You must be a lady killer with skills like this.
    Aloha,

    Fantastic recipe , nice with a mug of tea ...could you put raspberry Jam in with the almond paste or Lemon curd ? Or would that ruin the outcome . Hugh and Sir Barney

    • @geoffsbakingblog
      @geoffsbakingblog  2 года назад

      Hi Huge & Sir Barney. Thanks very much. I think a little raspberry jam, stirred into the almond paste would be fine. I wouldn't use lemon curd, since that contains fat which might not work so well.

      Hi Miranda, yes there are several things I really dislike, oily fish such as salmon. I eat white fish such as haddock and cod only. I dislike coffee and anything flavoured with coffee and also cooked cheese. Other than those I like most things, but I don' t eat very spicy food though I like a little.
