Pool Accessibility

Jeremy Warriner, bi-lateral above knee amputee, demonstrates how a pool lift for People with Disabilities can be ADA compliant but not functionally safe for someone with a disability to use. This illustrates the need for a Person with Disabilities to consult on Accessible DEIB to ensure organizations that serve the public are able to meet their Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion goals by including Accessibility that allows People with Disabilities to feel a sense of belonging as both consumers and employees.
