With wh you can farm idle without sol janus, just with drill salvo and hunting assistant well placed you can just stay at one place pressing the mobbing skill and ocasionaly replacing the summons. Pretty chill class for mobbing
Wind Archer main here! Pros: easiest bossing survivability in game with gale barrier (tank up to 400% of your max hp over time from multiple hits), puppet that makes gollux a joke and slows/distracts damien orbs for example, and windwalk, imo the best mobility in the game, dont even have to touch the ground if you don't want to, makes a lot of mechanics a joke (again damien, lotta stuff in lotus, etc) Also most of kit you press and forget, it auto finds its way to a boss, even off screen Cons: Not the strongest burst and a very lackluster origin (altho pretty, it just doesn't hit like most other jobs origins). Too much neon green in kit, can get boring, tornados choose their own direction and targets, you cannot control them, youll sometimes shoot one to left and it immediately goes nah and travels right, no party buffs
I can't decide between Wind Archer and Demon Slayer to hyper burn. I'm pretty new to the game and want a class that has decent leveling 200-260 as I normally burn out before I hit 260 when I try these events. My only concern with Wind Archer is using the cape skill to level I don't particularly enjoy that skill much. Demon slayer seems like it has more potential for me to hit end game, especially once I get access to TP farming. What do you think as a new player should I go for WA or DS? They both look so fun and I can't decide lol
@@Datthunter Id say both because at the least, both are good bossing mules. But you're right, DS has more endgame potential in general and a more robust, rounded out kit. I do get bored of using fairy spiral flash jumping to farm sometimes, you can afk and shoot your nado and vortex orb but they can feel slow in comparison on some maps. I'm hoping theyll buff the fairy spiral for the next 6th job mastery core! Could def use a size increase
@@minilabyrinth Right! the size of it is way too small, I really love the bossing of Wind Archer but DS also has great bossing and I think the mobbing might be great enough to get me to 260 compared to WA. Thank you for the advice I'm gonna go with DS (will hyper burn a WA next event lol)
@Datthunter I've played both. Personally, Demon Avenger is good for Legion and link skills, cap at 210. Biggest problem I've experienced with Demon Avenger is they are to much a Glass Cannon with all silk based on and draining your HP. Wind Archers is great but is going to require funding at later game to be able to compete.
@minilabyrinth how is mobbing / grinding with WA? I’m torn between WA vs. NW to hyperburn as a main. Looking for a class I can semi “lazy farm” and stand in a single spot most of the time
Here my thoughts if it helps. Overall: All the archers have really good kits. Bowmaster: Really cozy when bossing. My friend who normally plays warriors fell in love with bowmaster because it was soo stress free. Marksman: only con is that it’s more fluid with +1 attack speed inner, but besides that, they are strong and really good CRA bossing mules. Pathfinder: really easy to train, can be braindead when training. Bossing is a little boring, but that depends on the person. Wind archer: Use to be annoying when you had to pop like 20 buffs, now their passive. Very cozy and stress free like bowmaster. The wind walk is fun to use. Mercedes: Is a acquired taste. Not as hard as cadena an blaster. There’s this thing called skill queuing, where while one skill is going off, you can hold the next one to activate it when the chance is available. Combos are easy. Not broken, but I find Mercedes really fun. Training should be fun, but it’s not lazy. Kain: really strong, and really fun. Lots of buttons to cycle through… but worth it. Great mobility like Mercedes. The burst is really satisfying. Wild Hunter: more sought after for their party buff which I think gives final damage. Besides that, they look fun. I haven’t fully invested in one but looks easy to train and easy to boss. Similar to Mechanic.
@@jkhuang94 I can't really make a statement regarding this comparison, since i don't have a decent WA. However, I can reiterate how powerful and easy bowmaster is.. I have 6 boss mules at 250, Bowmaster, Hero, Bucc, Demon Slayer, I/L and Shadower. Bowmaster is the best by far. After Bowmaster, I have a tied duo: bucc and hero, both are really strong aswell Demon slayer is garbage, managing their mana (DF) is boring af.. I/L is hard because infinity management can get a bit overwhelming during more chaotic bosses. And shadower is different than the usual, he is more of a consistent DPS then a burst class, which i don't enjoy as much.
@@fzaoocheers mate. Gonna research more about both to decide which one to hyper burn as boss mule. Good insight on hero and bucc too. Could go for bucc in a future
Thank you for spreading the word of the great upcoming WA buffs! Now I can finally stop spamming my arrow keys and song heaven. Surely, the howling gale targeting is a feature right? 😅
Just to add, Marksman is one of the easiest bossing classes to learn. They have the teleport for mobility, they can put down a puppet that draws enemy attacks, and their damage is very nice. It means the class is probably best as a bossing mule, but I'm still pretty happy with it as my main
I tried making a mm bossing mule..gave up after I spent over 8b on rolling its inner for atk speed..which they do need 😅 no I'm in the process of making a bm instead. So much easier

When I first tried getting back into Maple a year or so ago I made a Pathfinder because the concept of being able to kill so many mobs so easily was very appealing to me as an old school Mapler. It was so unbelievably boring that I stopped touching it after level 70 and quit the game again for another year or so. Given that I was able to grind to 145 on a Shadower during the Big Bang... I'd say the problem definitely wasn't the grind.
