or probably because the background music is too loud. tone it down next time.
X Corolla 2005 was our first family car. I've had so many memories with this model of car. I must say, X corolla is a legendary car.
We got the JDM varient in Bangladesh (1.8l, 1.5l 1.3l) petrol. The car is very reliable/durable and the price never depreciates. I was really happy to see your video. My car is 2001 model still running well.
Hey nice one man! Enjoy your ride! Take care of it well :)
@@cruse_life Thanks man, hoping to see more of your videos.
@@fagunc6408 Stay tuned for more videos!!!
Great video and very informative! I own the E12 5 door hatchback with 174k and runs like new! It's a 2003 model and it doesn't even pass my mind to change it. Hope to keep it for many years and keep enjoying its smooth ride and engine. This version of Corolla is the type of car that gains your respect everyday you drive it and live with it. Thanks for the video!
This Was Honestly A Great Car...
The Best Part Was This Car Literally Covered 80kms With A Broken Piston..
Still Running Great After 400,000 kms
This version also have 1NZ-FE 1.5L engine variant
I own the wagon. The car is very reliable but i wish it had the 6 speed manual.Overall a great daily.
Nice one Silver Lahek! Take good care of your ride :)
We have 2003 model our family have this since 2005 still running great and this car is very famous in our country Bangladesh
In Australia only the 1.8 litre 1zze-fe was available in the 9th gen E120 Corollas
My 2001 is currently at 590,000km.
WOAH! That is awesome that you've managed to keep your ride lasting that long! Good luck and we are wishing you enjoy many more miles!
Impressive. Do you change oil often? Any failures ?
Good video, keep it up! I am soon to own an E120 myself, a pre-facelift T3 1.6 hatchback with the 4A-FE derived 3ZZ-FE, sound great.
That's great to hear! Enjoy your car and take care of it!
You got it? Can't decide between Corolla or Avensis.
@@alexale5488 As I'm a new driver, I would've gone for the Corolla, but with college starting, I've had no point so I didn't go for it. The corolla is a better buy in my opinion, they last forever, theres a reason they recently sold their 50 millionth Corolla haha!
@@executive1946 "theres a reason they recently sold their 50 millionth Corolla"
And I expect older generations to be even more reliable :)
Good luck with college !

Update on my car buying: Finally bought a super duper rare 2005 Corolla *saloon*
its a 1.4 manual, got it for £2000 on 26k miles, in beautiful shape, top spec with everything i could get on it, 1 owner + every single document including the order form.
Our hatchbacks got WAY more equipment in top "T-Spirit" trim, but because the saloon/estate wasn't made in the UK like the hatches and instead in Turkey, the top spec for the saloon/estate only got the trim below top, T3.
Wow congrats on the new ride! Enjoy!
some came with the 2zz-ge vvtli engines (Although rare )
they make 190 hp
Yeah due to the rarity of it we skipped out on the 2zz, although it is a superb motor.
accurate information. Love the JDM version, I have one!
Thank you Amaan! The JDM variant is our favorite one too! Take care and enjoy your ride!
This body style was sold brand new in our country
It was exported to certain asian countries too
When are you going to change the spelling mistake on the title? its IX (9th gen), X (10th gen) is for E140.
From wikipedia: The Toyota Corolla (E120/E130) is the ninth generation of compact cars sold by Toyota under the Corolla nameplate.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_Corolla_(E120)
And for E140
The Toyota Corolla (E140/E150) is the tenth generation of cars sold by Toyota under the Corolla nameplate.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_Corolla_(E140)
Seems that you had a couple of E130 models mixes in your video
3:00 *Aus spec E120s were fitted with a 1.8 1ZZ-FE as standard
Thanks for catching that and letting us know Heath!
That's what mines got
canada too 1zz-fe and xrs have 2zz-ge
There is an also 1.5L version
i have 2004 T3 1.6 vvti 3 door auto( i have dyspraxia ,I can operate a manual safely)) hatchback pretty spacious plenty of space for a 3 door ( styling ia muvh better than the 5 door its easy to get in the back im 6ft and i dont evwn have to my head much , there 2 building in cup holders for back passengers , storage comparments ,80,00 milage had it 5 months almost have some nice sleek sttyling , compared to the us boxy and bland loooking saloon
for a 19 year old four automatic , it is quite nippy , when you kick down
This was interesting and well made o.0
Also to nitpick, you said South East Asia at 1:27. What was written (South Asia) was correct (as they’re found in eg India), as the Actual SE Asian models are basically the same as the north american models 🤗
Also ‘fun’ fact, even though the SEA models are similar to N American models, SEA models are a ‘prestiged’ or an upscaled version of the former
@@qualityguacamole9142 Thanks for letting us know!
I have the hatchback 1.6L T3, I love the car. regular change of lubricants and this car will go for 300.000 miles and more,
Wow, nice one Al kis! take care of your ride and I bet you it will be running for even longer!
99% of them come with a 130hp 1zz idk how you missed that
In pakistan we got the american version however we also have the x and g corollas imported
In Bangladesh, we modified it to 500 HP so it is faster, but we have the G version which is available in the indian subcontinent and japan
Jesus😳
There is even a superchqrged version of the 1.8 litre hatchback which makes 225 hp. I didnt do my research and bought the 1.6 litre 110hp one unfortunately. Runs like magic tough.
my brother has the 1.6, and its pretty quick even tho its slow
@@illegalcumtrader56 wait there how can be pretty quick and slow , if you mean its not quick by todays standards pa
@@DC3Refom I have no idea what I was yappering about
I only found that in my country (Bangladesh)
i have one im from canada with 06 corolla S and i have 1zz-fe 1.8 130hp
im sorry to disappoint you but its actually the E140 thats the most famous car in the world.
Thanks for the info we will keep that in mind :)
And im sorry to disappoint you even more because you mismatched the generation numbers Corolla X is E140,E150. Corolla IX is for E120,E130.
So inconclusion Title is wrong and misleading it should be "Why Toyota Corolla X (E140) is most famous car in the world" But if you want to stick with E120 wich is famous but not as much as the E140 it should be "Why Toyota Corolla IX (E120) is (by your opinion) the most famous car in the world
@@toyotacorollae1407 Haha, I'm pretty sure I haven't mismatched the generation numbers. Also the title isn't misleading taking into account most of the countries in the world. I would like to know which countries you are talking about when you mention E140? Thanks
Also it's funny that your literal account name is Toyota Corolla E140. Haha are you some kind of promoter for the E140 lol

Do a 1995/6 Toyota starlet
getting a wagon E130 soon, any recommendations? and is it really worth getting the Automatic?
For these older cars, I'd recommend manual as it is more reliable and cheaper to repair/maintain. Automatic should only be considered if you can't drive a manual in the first place. Hope that helps!
I see many in anime
I have the wagon model 2003 only 34000miles run
Wow that is superb!
The European E120 was nicer in my opinion
👍
In Bangladesh, this model called national car of Bangladesh.
