This is also why i see why secret of the village underside is frustrating but the worst version of this shine is the second visit to gather the red coins especially with one on a rope that u must be thrown onto if you miss down to death you go not to mention its easy to miss it what a stupidly frustrating shine

Just as an fyi in case anyone didn't know this, but when Arin is going on about ripping off Il Piantissimo's mask, if he did that, he would see the face of the running man that is impossible to beat from Ocarina of Time. So likely would trigger FAR more confusion in the end!

People dump on Arin all the time for being terrible at games - well, y'know what, I'll give him a pass on this one, because this game is absolutely impossible. It basically forces you to do every level perfectly the first time, but almost every level is also needlessly complicated and treacherous. Obscenely precise platforming, narrow vanishing pathways over bottomless pits, boss fights that can take upwards of ten minutes... and a poorly programmed camera and physics engine that are constantly screwing with you even more. Like the Piantas themselves, this is a game dedicated to punishing you for wanting to have fun.

Is anyone good at this game? Such broken physics (never played Pachinko Machine but I have attempted The Sand Bird and I raged because I kept falling off right near the end so annoying to stay on the bird to get to the top of the tower to reach the last red coin and the shine screw that shine)

Mario sunshine has a bad physics engine bad controls bad camera and bad depth perception which makes dying very easy
I wouldn’t say it like that, I would say that Mario’s air mobility is so bad that you cannot correct yourself if you jump too far to the side. You have to angle your jumps precisely and have to keep a steady hold on Mario because he turns to fast on ground and turns way too slowly on the air. You have to master spin jumping too if you plan to complete episode 3 of Pianta village the intended way.

@@Kappa5938 Really? I didn’t have many problems sliding. The trouble I had was with the sand bird, episode 3 of Pianta Village, Corona mountain and the water level with Yoshi in Delfino plaza but that was about it. Then again, I played through the game casually so idk how hard it would be to speed run.
