Coming back to this because I'm rewatching the series and I can't wait to get to this moment
You know the funniest part of the Pachinko Machine Incident? It's not a mandatory Shine to get. So that means Arin didn't have to get that Shine at all.
To be honest, only 49 shines in the entirety of Sunshine are mandatory! Meaning that Arin could've easily beat the game by beating less than half the game.

+TheKyleDavid And then the opposite happens when they try to 100% complete a game, and they end up looking like jerks to the fans for stalling potential LPs. Either way, many lovlies are unpleasable.
All in all, everyone is an asshole and won't be pleased by what shows they make.
+Benjamin O'Connor actually I think it's 43 or 44 if you count glitches. The first one on the airship, 6 (skipping the first one) on Bianco hills, 7 in Rico, 1 in the first beach level (forgot the name on stop of my head) with the watermelon shine glitch, and 7 each with pinna park, sirena beach, nico bay, and pianta village. I forget if the final boss counts as a Sprite though. So counting it up you have 43 shines without final boss and 44 if you do count the final boss.
My favorite death? The one where Dan is like you're doing so good and then Arin immediately dies after.

Pachonki Shine will be the most ultimate death in any game Arin will probably ever play. Still one of the most insane things I've personally ever seen.

I love that you do your best to keep entire stories in the clips. It bothers me so much when I get really into one of their stories in one of these compilations and then it cuts off and I'm just left to wonder how the hell it was going to end.

This is how compilations should be. Most compilations would only probably shows a few seconds of each different death.
I really really love how this list isn't really a list of best deaths, but really, the best comedy routines surrounding the hundreds of deaths they've... died... over the years. 10/10 dude.
were these "best" 100 deaths based more on what they were talking about, rather than the actual deaths? I say this because during the joke yoda thing, it was counting every death

The description tells how the clips were ordered, not why they qualified for the top 100. In that regard, on one hand you did say "cinematically", and cinematography deals with the visual part. On the other hand, I noticed that you're keeping the integrity of their dialogue by extending the clips to capture more. I was just wondering which criteria you leaned toward, or if it was sort of both.

Great compilation, made me smile and laugh a lot! I found it because I was looking for one particular Mario Maker death, can anyone help me out? Arin finds a secret ?-Mark block in a level (it's in a hidden area through a door), hits it, and it knocks him into lava, and he proceeds to scream in a very heartfelt way 'HE DID THAT ON PURPOSE!'
Hey, really good work on this compilation man. I really enjoyed it. I do have one suggestion tho. Watching this, it seemed like it was more if a "best mario moments" than "best deaths". But, the title really doesnt matter, as long as the video was good, which it was. Nice job, I got a good laugh out of it. Looking forward to more!
+RJ Galbraith I absolutely see your point, but I had way more deaths if I chose good mario moments that revolved around deaths but weren't necessarily about the death (because every clip did have a mario death in it in some form or fashion), and either way my true goal was to make the whole video overall cinematically pleasing and funny and not /really/ focus on the top 100. It was actually originally gonna be only 50!
