Basically, Alligators and Crocodiles aren't able to tear meat very well, so what they do is they grab on and roll around to tear the flesh off of their prey. It's also very useful for crushing things that they don't want on their backs. If you've ever seen old episodes of the Crocodile Hunter, he mentions it a lot.

Sunshine was always special to me because it was one of the first video games I ever played and it was released in America literally about 2 weeks after I was born
