I can only compare these to the stock ones since that's what I have experienced. It is a lot stiffer than stock. Handling is definitely sharper too. For the front ,they have a plastic piece that sits on top bump stop that prevents the bump stop being stuck, this part jumps around when going through bumps and makes some noise.
i have a mk6 gli and it's so interesting to see how similar these 2 cars are
Yeah these two generations share a lot of parts. I'm pretty sure the intake and coilover install I did works on mk6 as well. (same part )
Go a click softer in the back, and a click stiffer in the front, should help with your headlights diving.
Did you ever figure out what to do with the headlights?
How do these ride? Are they noisey? Any knocks/creaks etc? I'm tempted to buy some but sceptical as they are on the cheaper side of things.
Thanks

@@hanksun8707 thanks for the informative reply. Since ordered some vogtland coilovers
You should put a shit load of anti-seize on your threads, So your collar's don't get seized....
I use boeshield. But anti seize is also a good choice! Thanks for the info !!
how do i un-seize mine?
Maybe try spraying a lot of penetrating oil ?
So this isn’t the lowest the car could go ? I want to see what’s the lowest the car could go
for the coilovers, it can go a lot lower. but the wheel will hit the fender.
