I have this exact same noise, but no check engine light just yet. I have a 2017 VW Jetta 1.4TSI. Mine happens at the same rpm’s but when I’m speeding up or when I’m building boost.

My 2.0 tsi polo gti rattles when off the throttle around 3k vw checked exhaust and shields might try this

your pcv valve blew your rear main seal. If the PCV valve is faulty it builds pressure and VW uses a cheap crappy seal that almost ALWAYS blows out. With VW Preventative maintenance should be checking PCV valve often and replacing it often to avoid ever having that issue.

At 5:00 I’m having trouble getting that small pipe out, is there a tool or any certain method I should use to get it out?

Well, I noticed the same exact noise. At first I didnt know what it was or if it was normal until the check engine light appeared and disappeared (it was P0299). I bought that clip directly from Dealership (a little more expensive but not too bad) and installed it myself. Its been a few weeks now. The rattling noise is completely gone and the check engine never came back. Thank you, sir.

Can you adjust them to make the dumber hard do you can run static with them? Cause i was going to buy the JOM ones but realised the damber isnt adjustable , but i dont see from were you adjust these.. or if you can. Thanks

The metal part that the filter connects to has a little nipple on the bottom end, not sure what thats for if anyone could help, also the rubber grommet does not connect to anything on the car

I have done the rear main seal, incredibly intensive for one small piece. I would start planning replacing the DSG clutch flywheel (if auto), and anything along the way like water pump, any coolant hoses, carbon clean the valves injectors, HPFP lobe bearing, oil cooler seals etc. I bought mine from an owner similar to your situation, he got fed up with the repairs. It had a Christmas tree of CEL codes, took me about six months and around 4k if I add what was broken and what was about to be broken, and that was me doing all the labor work.

Great looking bike, just the right amount of parallel twin power for the road. Id keep it stock, looks too good to be messed around.

Real main seal is gear box off job my man. May as well upgrade gearbox parts or refresh them along the way.

Great city bike for sure. I have the same bike now with 54k miles made lots of changes before I was doing more long distances.

the noise at full throttle is the stock diverter valve change it and you should be fine

I got one just like yours, yellow, only 2018. I used to have a Ducati Monster 600, but this is much better! The sound, the handling, the power and the looks is just perfect for riding around town. It's a kind of bike you just want to hang on to, and I cant see me ever getting rid of it... -it's just that good!

I bought a 2018 model about 2 months ago. Came from a 2013 BMW R1200RT which was eventually going to get a little too hard to handle for me. I'm only about 5'4" so leg length was an issue. I'm also 69 so weight was also going to come into the equation at some point. The Street Cup is perfect for me. As you say, enough power to keep you happy and it handles pretty well. I think this will be a long term bike for me as I love the look of it and cruising through the twisties with friends is what it's made for.

Nice bike and video, I have the exact same bike, just alot more customised. One thing I'll mention is if you look down at your dials and steering yoke, it looks like a bulldogs face lol. Once so see it, your never unsee it. Your welcome 😅

The high pitch noise is your divertervalve which is worn out. Need to replace it or change it for a DV+ valve from GFB.
