I was a sophomore at U. Memphis when a popular linebacker, Taylor Bradford, was shot upon returning to his dorm from a night in a nearby casino. He tried to drive away, but ended hitting a tree, and was pronounced dead within about an hour.
Some say Taylor was seeing, to some degree, the girl of the guy who set him up. They were alleged to have thought they wouldn't get caught if they made it look like a robbery gone wrong. I don't know if the girl was ever involved and/or charges.

We recently had 30,000shekels (around 7.5-8.5k$ -depending on the exchange rate) stolen from the owners office. It was not locked up, and nobody knows who did it. It honestly disgusts me to no end

Lady at work left her husband and three young children for a newly hired guy. Her ex got custody and she had to pay child support. Rumor was that the new husband didn't want kids -- whoops guess who got pregnant! So she had four kids and a husband who was rumored to like going to the casino. Both of them eventually left the company so I have no idea what became of all.this.

There was a rumour that a PE teacher was having an affair with a married Spanish teacher. They both denied it until a) she went back to her maiden name and b) it became... physically obvious over a few months that they were bonking. As far as I know they're still together.

School: a few years ago 5 years after I graduated from high school a special ed math teacher and girls basketball coach was found to be messaging inappropriately with a then-16 year old student when he was in his mid-40's. He resigned from the school and turned himself in to the police when the warrant was issued for his arrest and was eventually sentenced to 40 years in prison with 12 to serve approximately a year and a half later.

One of our teachers lost their job because he made Marijuana brownies and his Mom thought he had made them for the card game night at the Senior Center. At first it was thought that it was carbon monoxide poisoning but then the fire dept said it wasn't. Several old folks ended up in the hospital, some by ambulance.
