That hit too hard
itchy AIDS False
@itchy AIDS Most people ain't woke yet.
itchy AIDS no one loves you at all, if you died would you want people to start slandering your nonexistent legacy? and would you want people to highlight the negative things you did?
itchy AIDS it’s not called level 30 😂 this isn’t a video game.
@@the_giggities69 woke lol.....
Kobe wasn’t just one of the best basketball players of all time. He was one of the best athletes and a cultural icon. Shout out to the NFL for this.

I don't think their isn't a sports arena that hasn't mentioned Kobe & Gigi. He was really impactful.
@Allen Wilson might be the most foolish comment I have ever seen
The way he recaptured to he NBA Championship from Boston. His determination was just phenomenal. Other championship games he raised his game.
Dont forget also one of the greatest Fathers ever..... RIP !!!!
how the hell did he do that...were all crying and we never met the man, peyton was legit friends and that speech was damn beautiful.
Notice how fast he was talking
@@headabovewater6118, you could hear the pain in there, for sure, good on him though, takes strength to get through it.

I remember at 13 years old I became a big sports fan of Peyton and Kobe simultaneously and watched them both go on to win championships in their respective sports around the same time. They chose the right person to honor Kobe from the NFL. #RIPMamba
U must b around 35-37 then same with me laker fan since 91 and colts fan since 94/95 big ups to both franchises and rip bean and GG
Same but not 13

@Darius Maksym So your previous comment?....
Die hard colts fan for 20 years watching Peyton hoist the Lombardi regardless of it being with us or with the Broncos is some of the most special moments of my life
Kobe understood basketball as well and Peyton could understand football. That’s why both of them had their own “DETAIL” ESPN shows where they analyzed the game like never before. 🔥💯
That was Kobe’s show. It was produced at his studio in collaboration with ESPN. Peyton was chosen by Kobe to be a part of it
@@vernlaw yup!! True!!
PartheNaan Kobe asked him personally to join
Very rare that someone gets to that level of fame, where literally everyone in the world knows your name. This last year or so has been really depressing, what crazy times we live in..
You know someone has such a high level of respect and admiration of them as a person and just amazing athlete, when hall of fame players, old and young have such reverence for him. See all the players faces at the end and how much they cared, and you can see it on their faces. Legends older than kobe, but admire him. Look at Prime time, Deion's face when clapping and the great Jim Brown right infront of him, they were great players and well, greatness, knows other greatness.
@Young Black Conservative surely he is known around world
There is numerous people that didnt know him till he died and some people who never heard of him. Dont use the word literally
MJ’s death was the SAME way
Young Black Conservative I can almost assure you those “few” people who told you they didn’t, don’t trump the amount that do. There were people from different countries mourning this loss! Philippines, Greece, France, Italy etc. it’s bigger than you think. Wether you know, or are trynna make a point. Whatever that may be....
When Peyton said I sure do miss my friend Kobe Bryant it tore me apart

Even the NFL loved this man, that's crazy how much Kobe impacted the whole sports world. God bless you, Kobe.❤
And he was well-known around the world 🙌🙌🙌🙌🏀🏀🌍🌎🗺
@itchy AIDS ???
Fran Fine whole sports world = nfl and nba????
@@amlc4626 Soccer , Tennis, Hockey players also celebrated his life.
@itchy AIDS your name fits you
I'm still waiting for Kobe to hold a press conference stating that this is all false. My mind can't accept that this is real... But my heart is saying something different💔
yeah, we're right there with ya, man was invincible.
Or come walking out during some award show, and give a long lecture to the world on appreciating people while they are alive
You are not alone man. My mind also still cannot process the fact that Kobe's gone. He was more than just an NBA legend. Kobe transcended sports in general. He was also a cultural icon. RIP Mamba and Gigi. May you both live in our hearts forever.
@@LF4L In my mind, growing up watching my idol grow as well. As a kid I guess I saw him as one of those immortals. The crazy stuff he does on court, and subconsciously I forgot that he is.. very human just like the rest of us. It almost felt as though that we'd see him grow old with the rest of us and we'd celebrate many more of his accomplishments. So it just blindsided me and I'm sure many others when he tragically died, because it somehow wasn't a thing that the majority not only never entertained but never imagined would happen to him. Such a healthy individual, an all-time great, a legend in the sport with an unfathomable impact across the world in all sports and even many aspects of life. Gone way too soon, but never ever forgotten.
Youre not alone in your feelings! I feel the same way 😞
1:38 “Like a true champion, he never stopped learning!” Peyton’s beautiful tribute to Kobe.
RIP to everyone who lost their life on that tragic day 🙏🏻
Young Black Conservative 100 percent.
@J C Ruby No it was Ara the polit judgement that cause 9 ppl to died. Go watch video of the flight reenactment. They played the audio between the Polit and Air traffic control.
Spoken like a true friend ♥️🙏
Soo true
I can see how they were kindred spirits that transcended race and sports, they were the greatest minds in NBA and NFL history. Nobody had Kobe's basketball IQ and nobody had Peyton's football IQ.
My two favorite athletes of all time: Peyton and Kobe. Work hard kids, it pays off
Likewise
We’ve lost one of our best soldiers boys, R.I.P. kobe and Gianna bryant, and thank you sheriff Peyton for this speech.
Kobe & Peyton were both the best at their sports, during their respective era's.
OFRN Dogman they were right there when it all started. They both had she deals with Adidas. They really supported each other.
Peyton Manning, that was a class act tribute to your friend. I wouldn't have expected anything less from a classy sports hero himself. Well done, dude. 👍
Game recognize game. Simple as that
August 24: Mamba Day.
No it’s 4/13
Kelton Fowler You’re the only person who thinks you’re funny
J Rust ignore his stupidity but anyways his last game was played on 4/13 and was already called mamba day
Mamba Day is August 23-24..
CeeDee Smith lol go on google n type mamba day
I can't stop watching highlights and interviews and crying. As a Denver nuggets fan I witnessed many times Kobe rip us apart , but I grew to respect and admire him. Being 33yo, he was the Jordan of my generation... Rip Kobe Bean Bryant , Gigi and their friends 💔
Rob Obey Same i would hat seeing him be in the conference finals cuz he would just kick our ass it like wtf but at the same time had to appreciate his greatness LONG LIVE THE BLACK MAMBA AND BABY GIGI
Same for me I’m 34. I’ve been sobbing since Monday morning. Kobe would tear my Magic up even beating us in the finals. I feared him as a fan! Now I’ve realized just how special he was
Agreed I grew up with Kobe. Can’t believe he is gone
Nuggets fan here also. I have good memories of watching the 2009 Western Conference finals even though the Nuggs lost. Kobe was "that dude" in the NBA during those days.
You know Kobe was such an amazing person because of how he made every friend he had, feel like a close friend. Makes it even more tragic.
“and i sure do miss my friend kobe bryant..” broke me apart man 🥺
RIP Kobe , we miss you.
Until the end of time, my friend 🙏🏾

Kobe Bryant MVP MVP
This may be the best tribute I’ve heard. Didn’t know he gave pep talk to Eagles before the SB! Crazy!
The best speech given in tribute to Kobe. It was subtle, beautifully understated, and went to the core of who the great man was and who we knew him to be. Well done Peyton.
Kobe was bigger than basketball in my opinion he’s a top 5 athlete of all time
He was the most skilled basketball player ever his worth ethic was unmatched
Top 2 only Jordan was above him IMO
itchy AIDS how’s the cake? You find the recipe yet? Tell me what it taste like next time. Thanks!
itchy AIDS Thank you for revealing yourself. It must be awful to be you
Lil Ferdi no hes not, there is more better athletes than Kobe and no, im not hater.
Another great legend talking about another great legend powerful gonna be missed Kobe and never forgotten from San Diego!!Rip big bro!
Beautiful statement! Just a few days ago, I watched the clip of Kobe's reaction when the Eagles won their first Super Bowl. He was like a kid on Christmas lol! The pure joy he had will make you smile and fondly remember Kobe.
Kobe Bryant died doing what good men do. He was being a father to his little girl -- taking her to an extracurricular activity. Yes, this was a tragedy. However, Kobe was a good father. So many fathers -- including professional athletes -- don't get involved in their kids' lives. Kobe did.
A M E N, he did but he himself had a great father who was s retired pro basketball player. His Dad spent time with him too. Obviously KOBE set out to play sports like his ol' man and his baby girl was carrying on the torch. Just like with one of my brothers. Both his kids are in the military just like he was and now grandkids. Something isn't it?
I remember watching this speech some months ago and it brought me to tears watching it today. This is one of “The most heart felt speeches ever.”
I just realize how similar Kobe and manning are
Me too!
BrokemyKeyBoard aka sqiuppy Or kpg i mean one has two rings one of them in a season where he threw 9 touchdowns to 17 picks and carried by number one defense. the other has 5.kobe literally scored 60 in his last game. These two aren’t the same at all. Kobe is ability, and brains. Manning is brains alone.
BaronVonBielski yeah there similar in the way they look at the game not by skill on the field or court I just Kent brains no brawn and if your looking at it that way manning may not have scored 60 in his last game but he won a ring so I’m a pretty sure that’s a good second option
Robert Hill Cause they are
itchy AIDS a couple of people trying to ruin a great tribute
Kobe was bigger than just Basketball, he was cultured and a student and admirer of various sports. This is why so many people were hurt when he passed away because he was connected in so many ways.
No one could have delivered a more classier tribute than this man! Job well done Peyton! #RIPMamba
It’s amazing how the major sports athletes knew Kobe and the stories they had
Peyton was legit. He was friends. They way he's talking it doesn't sound like he just threw this speech together. I didn't know Peyton and kobe was that close.
Kobe had friends in every sports there is. We’ll all miss him
Another heartfelt tribute that just hits. Thank you Peyton. Rest in Heaven my Hero Kobe Bryant, Gianna, and all the lives lost that painful day. #mambaforever

This is perfect for me.. Peyton is my favorite athlete of all time, so hearing this from him is great
This was everything and more. I just wish there was a standing ovation for those lost and the presenter for the genuine moment.
Payton Manning , just maybe one of the hardest greatest speeches of all time.
“BUT ARE YOU A DIFFERENT ANIMAL AND THE SAME BEAST?”-KOBE BRYANT
This was an awesome tribute. I didn't know they were friends. And their ages are similar, they became pros around the same time, and retired within months of each other.
Peyton Manning is my favorite quarterback. I admire Peyton so much that I haven’t chosen any team since he retired. One of the things that I admire most about Peyton and Kobe was how articulate and intelligent they both are. I truly wanted to see them both act in movies together. Both Kobe and Peyton possessed a charm, witty humor, and remarkable speaking skills that I haven’t seen in any other athlete besides the Rock (Dewayne Johnson the wrestler)
Kobe will be missed.
Bravo Payton!!! A true champion paying tribute to another true champion!!!🏆
Much respect to Peyton Manning and the NFL for this. R.I. P. Kobe
Peyton Manning is my all-time favorite football player in Kobe's my all-time favorite basketball player this was awesome to hear such a humble great human being

Kobe will always be my hero! damn that Mamba thing really makes you want to be the best that you can be. much loved! til nxt time king of L.A. 💪💪
He was always learning and growing! I really loved what he was doing with the next gen of NBA and sports teaching and helping them understand to take themselves to the next level
He nailed it better than anyone I’ve heard probably aside from Shaq and West. Thank you Peyton.
This was a nice speech by Peyton! Damn, didn’t realize how much people loved Kobe. I wish he was still here. He had a lot more to live for. Rip to everyone that died on that day.
Now this is someone who truly spoke from the heart and not just for audience. 🙌🏻

I’ve never cried in mourning over the death of someone that I didn’t know. That was until Kobe Bryant passed away. And I’m not even an NBA, Laker, or Kobe fan.

Both of their careers were very similar. They were a version of each other.

Hands down best tribute couldn't say it any better lots of love from victorville California rest in peace kobe it's never goodbye but see you later!❤🙌
Im from LA Kobe was an idol of mine but so was Manning! I first saw Peyton when he played Florida and from the get go I knew he was special. This was a special Tribute.
I love how different sports (Nfl, Ovechkin NHL) recognize and pay respect to him. I think I've never seen something like this.
That's respect!
It sucks. The man lived most of his life playing a game and allowing us to watch in awe at his great ability to play it. When he retired, we were sad but, happy for him at the same time so he can live the rest of his life how he wants to.... now he won't get that chance. He and his daughter are going to miss all that was waiting for them. The people will never forget them and the world will always remember him as an icon and one of the Greatest Athletes to ever play a sport. RIP
I am not a big basketball fan. I am aware of the big players by mostly name not by accomplishments. Lately, I have had my eyes opened to what an incredible human being Kobe was to people around the World. Condolences to his family.
This page is full of supportive tributes and appreciation of how Peyton expressed himself. Really nice people!
