@@JOHN-w1i7uagree with you on all aspects , with 992 even the famous 991 silouette keys that you could insert and switch to turn on the car disappeared wich is such a shame as of 992 they mounted a cheap key handle that's looks like a strucked plastic toy in in the ignition place , hah 991.2 is the last gen that remained more of an analog car.

@Sideways_Singh had 964 c2 from memory ,but the ride in those air cooled for any length of time was quite tiring .The seats in the 930 were straight out of a vw beetle ,aircond if you were lucky and remember that in those days Porshe only added extras if it made it faster !
991.1 Carrera S is the winner
991.2 is my favorite 911 EVER made. Blend of classic Porsche styling/driving dynamics, with enough tech for it to feel modern but not over done
992 has overdone it. Not in a bad way but its too overcooked for a wagyu.

Its amazing that all the aircooled turbos are the most sought after until Porshe give you the turbos ( with hardly any lag ) as standard !
991.2 is significantly better sounding than 992
so true 992s are way quieter and actually sound like vacuum cleaners. Its sad the 992 is what made ppl realize the 991.2's actually soundg great.
Agreed 991.2 sounds way more flat 6 then the 992. Even with aftermarket exhausts I haven’t heard one that sounds as good as 991.2

i have 3.8NA one, but i think i rather have the 3.0 turbocharged one as it can be remapped to get a lot more bhp and also cheaper tax.

It is yes, and you can really tell. We compared the 991.1 to the 992 side by side and the 993 was practically silent!
No GPF/OPF in this gen 2. Around 2018 they started to add the filters.
