Hi Christie883: I have been a singer since I was in 4th grade,. I am now 76yrs and 7 months of age. I hear what you are saying....We are all given gifts when we are born, but as we all know, stopping the aging process in, for example, human singing voices, is a dream that I happen to believe will only come true when we ".....have slipped the surly bonds of Earth. and danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings”. I have 6 grandkids and tons of friends, and I DO NOT WANT TO LEAVE THEM NOW!!! Well, my first wife passed away in 1995 from an unstoppable sinus cancer, and my second wife passed from Dementia and went to be with her mom and dad in Heaven `1 year ago yesterday, I am trying to deal with this, and the Moody Blues music is the only thing that lets me live in Heaven for a brief slice of time with these lost loved ones and thenI am back here on Earth with wonderful people like you and all the MB fans!!!!!! .(and my 2 kids and my 6 grandkids..!!!!!!...
The song might have been done like that in Memory of Raymond Thomas who passed away in 2018. His part of this song was the flute and the part done by actor Jeremy Iron, with his monologue at the end of the song....
@@gloriabraucht2696 The original song of Nights in White Satin was recorded in a separate studio to the orchestra. The orchestral introduction before the drums come in and the orchestra at the end were added later. The ‘orchestral’ sounds you hear in the song are the mellotron from Mike Pinder and the flute from Ray Thomas- both sadly no longer with us.
They are the best group!!! They are just lovely!!!! Justin's voice is just beautiful!!!! 💙💙💙💙......
An amazing group that I liked from their first album. And they only got better along the years.
Amazing, one of the best songs ever. Justin's voice is still so wonderful. Loved this for years❤❤
A Masterpice
I'm 74 and this was always one of my favorite songs 🎵
agree 100%
Ditto. I was 74 when you wrote this......
Me too, and I am 74 .
Me too. I am 63 years old.
Absolutely wonderful' magic '
Is this really from 2022?His voice sounds a bit too young for a 75-year old! Anyway, an absolutely AMAZING song and voice! 💜🎵

You were truly blessed to have been at this concert, the MB never played in the U.K. after 2015.😢
Is that actor Jeremy Irons shown on screen before they sing ?
Yes it is !
Thanks ❤💋
That's not how the original recording of this song ends. I wonder why they changed the ending?

Because they can do it that way
They've been ending Nights in White Satin in concerts like that for decades.
@@michaeldowd176 This concert is from 2017. The original spoken word voice track in the song is by Mike Pinder.
Una de las mejores canciones de todos los tiempos, de un grupo inolvidable, un saudiño dende GALIZA ESPAÑA ❤😂❤❤❤😂😢😮😮😅😅
Mike Lynch Clark st. KCMO?
❤❤❤🥰
i AM 71 AND i AGREE WITH YOU
:"Days of Future Passed" was an extraordinary Album by the Moody Blues
whose music was way ahead of it's time and still is to this day.
for me, the orchestra takes away something from the original song. Love this song, but I prefer the original, without the orchestra
The original was with orchestra.
@@42BETWO Not the song itself
The original had an orchestra all the way through it.
