I’m pretty glad Billy Talent got a spot on the THPS 1+2 remake. They’ve been around for a good long while and seeing them hopefully get new fans is kinda exciting to me. I learned about them through Burnout Revenge so it’s cool new people can learn about them through a game is pretty awesome!

Dont think any of them? I remember their original name was supposed to be Pez, but some texan band sued them. Billy Talent prolly has some band backstory about a talent show and billy was some random kid.
This was a blast to experience in the THPS remastered demo. It fits so perfectly within the game and I found myself singing along after a few replays of the song

It’s a good song. It fits in a way. But, I personally felt like something was off with this an a few other newer songs and how other songs are missing. I don’t have a problem with it. Some of the new stuff works, and they couldn’t get the licenses for some of the older songs. Some Vice City iterations had a similar issue. Even though their probably using remastered tracks, you can tell songs from 20yrs ago are older. 90s-2000s music also had a different vibe and atmosphere to it.

Playing Pro Skater and I literally stopped what I was doing when I heard this song just go absolutely off. I was so taken back by how great this tune was! I haven’t done that in a game since I was probably a kid playing Burnout 3. What a great song, a real stand out in the games soundtrack for sure

I've been listening to Billy talent for a long long time. They went from one of the most creative and unique punk rock bands to a SOLID rock band. They are so consistent with their music. I can't name a bad song off the top of my head. I can't wait to hear the album (: no band will be able to dethrone them from my number 1 spot!

Even as a rock anthem it's not doing much for me.. I just can't get into it. It's just not catchy and Billy Talent is always catchy. This song just seems really lazy and poorly thought out. It shouldn't even be about being "louder than the DJ", it should've been something else.. It just doesn't feel right.

@@jackspedicy I was the lead network tester (senior tester overall). Also did the "oh you found me" Easter egg lol. Unfortunately, we were gearing up to do 4, but then we become Blizzard. So if it's going to happen, it won't be Vicarious Visions, as that name no longer exists :(

THPS 3 and Underground were my absolute favorites, if another remake ever happens it'd be awesome to have you and everyone else work on the project again because THPS1+2 was masterfully executed
I was really afraid , I thought " what if the new album won't be so great , the others were , but , yeah , that song has only one disadvantage and problem : it comes too early , so I can't wait to hear all the songs from new album . I can see by comments that many people knew about Billy Talent from THPS 1+2, but my story is different. I'm fan of THPS series since the third game, and fan of Billy Talent since 2007. When I started playing THPS 1+2, I had no idea that "Afraid Of Heights" was one of the songs in the game, and when during gameplay it suddenly hit my ears -- I just blowed from joy! Another joyful discovery from the remake was a great song called "Sedona" by JunkBunny.
I have so many important memories linked to this song, I need to thank Billy Talent for its existence.

I think the only time they failed is with their Louder than the DJ song but it's still pretty catchy and wasn't really a fail it's just different

This song really stood out to me in the THPS 1+2 remaster. Catchy verses and a catchy chorus. That game got everything right, even its choice with the new music.
Without a doubt the best Billy Talent song I've heard, and my favorite pop punk song.
Billy Talent II is one of my all time favorite albums. Bought it on a whim and still remember the times listening to it on the car. It's also my entry point to the band and the only major exposure I've had with them. Billy Talent III was just not as memorable to me, but this single is really freakin' cool and this album has the potential to be just as good as their second album.
I loved Billy Talent up until BTII. I stopped listening to them after that. It wasn't the same. This song actually sounds pretty good.
How i wish all the old bands sound like themselves like Billy Talent nowadays..
