"To my delight, and my wife's horror..." is the beginning to many of my fabrication adventures.
Trev - what an elegant, space-saving design! Very well done.
Thanks Ron 😊
I would never think of using that old gutter ,it looks like a really expensive job how you have it .And all that kit in one place , much better than my old Air Hostess cart .
I built something similar about 10 years ago. I was so proud of myself for putting everything conveniently on one cart. My wife came home and I showed it to her and bragged that I had built it entirely from scrap. Her response was that she could tell I had built it out of scrap. I am going to take it as a compliment, but I don’t think that it’s supposed to be one. Anyway, great video as always!
Nothing better than raiding a skip to our better halves delight!
you've put together a the full wish list of what we'd want in our shed, looks brilliant in industrial whit
It's a great job Trev, my old Unimig 210 takes more room than that whole setup and it only welds steel. You're a legend Trev.
Hey thanks 😊
Nice practical welding trolley. Don't forget the most important workshop upgrade is an alarm system. It takes years to accumulate welders and tools so don't neglect on security. Putting all the welders on a nice trolley makes it easier for toerags to wheel them away 👍
Trev, Nice job, on my cart I added a 50 amp extension cord to plug in everything.
Proper piece of modern art.
Liked your 'Ninja Mode' as you placed the equipment onto the trolley
👍
Nice job, Got some new ideas for my welding trolley, thanks
Trev I’d be happy to take that setup off your hands for you! Nice job.
Brilliant job there although you will have some fun flatting and buffing it!!
Nice job, Trev. I would never have thought to use cast iron guttering like that... though my wife walks away from me when I see a skip!! The only thing I expected that you didn’t add on was a handle to steer it round with. “Of the making of welding carts, there is no end”! But yours is a good ‘un. Thanks. Les
Hey thanks 👍
Had to laugh at the use of the cast iron guttering. Brilliant thinking Trev, you're more than just a pretty face. LOL
Price of metal... get the deals when and where they happen. Nice all-in-one solution to your weldiing/cutting machine collection.
That will be a nice cart ! What you might think about is throw a small desiccant pack down in each of your welding rod storage tubes for moisture corrosion control. Just a suggestion !
Great job mate, I am going to build something similar for all my welders and this is great inspiration.
Who said there's nothing new under the sun?! Ever see Trev do a video only 16 minutes long with more doing than talking? Me neither. Cheers, mate.
Love it!! I have a TON of scrap steel in my shop...this just gave me a lot of ideas. Thanks again, Trev! 😎👊❤
Thanks Jack 😘
@@trevsblog You're Welcome!! I spent part of my weekend catching up on your videos! I held the Trev's Blog Video Festival!😃♥
Got the steel today to build my weld trolley.
Plenty of ideas to borrow from in this 👍🏼
Always good to use up scrap, though if you ever need more you can always buy it from a scrap metal dealer at scrap metal prices.
That trolleys the business👌
Love it. 👍
Cheers Trev. 🍻
The whole thing when finished looked absolutely brilliant. Well done again Trev.
Excellent 😊👍
I would buy on of those .
What an amazing contraption - great work! That must save so much space.
Excellent result.
Fantastic job! 👍🏻
Excellent job Trev, came out a treat 👍🏻
Gotta hit those communal bins at apartments in the local area, or the UK equivalent to that. People move out or get shown the door & it's a bonanza of angle iron (steel) bed frames dead water heaters, stamped metal shelves, you name it. Kinda scavengey, but hey, extra free!
Just walked away with a pop up bed frame which I might turn into another sign, the steel bought new would have cost a fortune 👍
Trev really nice work, wish I had seen this first before I modified my trolly but the concept is the same. I recycled steel tubing leftover from some sears garage door openers. I have to modify the platform for both tanks to fit properly can I copy your idea for the rods. It’s such a complete work station. Love this channel
Thank you and yes please copy anything you see in my videos. Cheers Trev 👍
No bigger wheel gets stuck.🖐🖐
Awesome 👍🏽😀
Thank you 😊
Do you need a class 1 HGV to move it !!!
Lovely job. Will the valves hit l first when backing it up to a wall?
The chassis sticks out further than the regulators 👍
Brilliant looking cart!
Question about the Pro Spot dent puller, Did it work for you ??
I got one off Amazon and could never get the end of the wand to stick to the sheet metal dent ! You have any luck ??
Cheers to you and your family!!
Thanks 😊 When you say wand, do you mean the copper coated carbon rod?
What is the blue mesh on the bottles
Hey Dave, as far as I know it's a disposable plastic wrap that helps protect the cylinders during transit (I think it's mainly to reduce friction, but things would also be a lot quieter!).
