I still like this bike after 4 years, they look amazing on these plus sized tires and ride comfy.. unfortunately you don't see a lot of new stuff on this bike anymore as the newer roscoe is different with that frame and nobody talks about the older model. Ah well, good to see this new video.
Thanks for the brilliant videos on the Roscoe bud! After watching your original video I decided the Roscoe was the one for me. I picked up a 2023 Roscoe 8 about 3 weeks ago for 620 pounds (a bit of a bargain). The original owner bought it brand new in January and decided cycling wasn't for him. This is my first mountain bike and i am thrilled with it. I did a 20km loop with a friend recently and we are planning our next outing shortly. You have gained a new sub!
I am still loving my "2020" Roscoe 8, the quotations are for the fact that the Marigold fade frame I had was replaced with a Matte black w/ white decals under warranty after I found the weld cracked at the seat stay seat tube junction. I have made several upgrades, one you read about the bar and stem. I upgraded the fork two years ago to a RS Revelation RC after the Gold 35 kept having issues with maintaining air pressure. I upgraded the crankset last summer to a SRAM Stylo 170mm w/ a 32t DUB BB which helped with pedal strikes. My next upgrade will be a new dropper, One Up V2 in 180mm, which will fit perfectly in my size large frame. Keep up the videos, and maybe some day I can fly over to ride the Isle of Man.
You made me buy my roscoe 8 last year. BEST BIKE EVER!!! Have same specs year and color. Only thing I changed was pedals evrything else is stock as it came. PS: maxxis rekon 27.5+ awesome tires! 17:17 cool you quote me 🎉 I havent changed hub yet and you know what is not that bad and im use to it. Your videos are awesome to watch keep it comming.
