@@ranasaneh2059 the venue didn’t have much in terms of tea options. The ones I picked, they didn’t have, which was a little disappointing. I just had a juice instead.
What an absolutely gorgeous setting! Very pretty selections,.Pumpkin spice lattes are such a fall treat. Cinnamon honey butter is a personal favourite.
I really wasn’t expecting to like the pumpkin spice latte but it was one of the best sweet items. I still love clotted cream over any flavoured butters or creams.
The stunning setting makes for a lovely afternoon tea. A wonderful selection of items to try, the date scone is a favourite of mine. Thank you for sharing Jos. Look forward to more afternoon teas !
It was nice to try the date scone as something a little different to what I usually have for my scones. I’ve got quite a few festive afternoon teas coming up that will be fun to try.
The afternoon tea looked awesome, views were amazing the Waitakes (what we call for the short version of the name) are very beautiful there are beaches out on the coast if you kept going that way
Hi Susan, how is your November going? The rainforest was stunning to look around. The resort is a huge step back in time and has an old style vibe. I think the setting for the afternoon tea right in the middle of the Waitākere ranges is lovely - I wasn’t as keen on the crazy roads to get to the forest though…very ⚠️ in parts so I’m glad I left before it was dark. 😬
@josatkin hello from UK! November is going by faster than usual I'm sure. Remembrance day today so a bit quiet here. How's your Nov going? Regards Susan.
@ it’s my dad’s birthday (10th Nov) so been catching up with the family. I am looking forward to all the Christmas vibes and family time. It’s my birthday this time of year and will be a big birthday so planning to celebrate. 🥳
It seems you didn't say anything about how you liked the savory options. Was also interested to know about them. The view from the lounge was stunning! Also what teas did they serve? Oh yes, i want to know it all😂 It's just that i also enjoy having afternoon teas in various places.
The savoury items were a nice change to the usual sandwich setup. The burger was lovely and tasty and I did like the ciabatta chicken option. The egg & the prawn items were not as stand out though. The view was lovely but it would have been great with an open deck area to really enjoy the outside. It’s a really old Skype building that I think was built in the 40s so it was like going back in time in some areas of the place. I prefer a more modern venue personally but the rainforest is amazing area of Waitākere Ranges is a great place to do.
Very nice vlog as usual 👌 the food seems very tasty but a simple cup of tea will do to enjoy such a view 😀 ❤

I think the last time I was out at Piha was 2019 as I took my sister and her kids there when they flew over to visit.
Hello from Bournemouth UK. What a beautiful forest!! The resort also looked good. Thank you for the video. Regards, Susan.
