I thought it would be a good idea to re-visit Harrods for their afternoon tea. I would say it’s massively improved

It’s a shame NZ don’t have Too Good To Go yet as I would love to use it there.

It was much improved from when I went a few years ago as I really didn’t like that the tea rooms were in a kind of walkway. The Georgian restaurant now it’s been redone is lovely inside and most of the food I loved. Staff were lovely too.

I have so many things I love about M&S food.

I avoid going at weekends and usually like to go in the evening or during the day in the week as it’s usually a lot quieter.

So I'm watching all the New Zealand videos I can find to learn about it.

The staff were great and I loved how everything was homemade. I’ll be heading back there very soon. 🌊

I think it's worth going to Costco as some things I saw were cheaper than in Pak N Save when I filmed that video. But I would suggest going with a friend as a plus one on their membership first, before you invest in a membership card - just in case you don't find it worth it for you.

My niece and nephew enjoyed the food and have also used the app and got some Pret bags.

Yes I've found so far all the items from bags I've got, have been pretty good. I've saved quite a bit of money with the brands too. I have additional videos coming up in the new year with other brands I've tried. I really love the idea of how it helps customers and businesses.

Good for the environment too!

I found it quite helpful to see what the meals were like. The atmosphere was fun and I like that each night the location is different.

I do so much love the feel of Christmas, celebration, family and connection. I even saw some snow today for the first time in about a decade. Such Christmas feels! I hope whatever plans you have, you have a lovely festive time. 🤗

Where are you based? Do they not have the app there? I really love the idea and concept and been trying do many different brands to see how I find it.

Yes I really like the idea. Helps businesses and customers. I’ve been trying it out with different brands in the app and it’s been really useful. I do love M&S food too 😋

Yes I used Ocado last year and did a few videos on the M&S and Daylesford items. I like to pop to Daylesford store when I’m in the Cotswolds too. So many nice things. I’d like to do one of the in house Daylesford cookery classes as they look really interesting.

There was so much choice which I liked. It’s a nice atmosphere and people coming together to enjoy food. I plan to go back to another location to see if each has a different vibe. I hope you have a lovely festive period! 🤗

I don’t think I’ve walked out of F&M without buying my face biscuits. I was tempted to get some of their festive meat items this year.

I know, I do love going to F&M and couldn’t resist to buy myself some treats too. 😋

Both are well established luxury places but the vibe in ritz can be quite rushed especially at peak times. It’s a smaller space too but the building is stunning. Fortnum is lovely and a more relaxed environment but both are very traditional afternoon tea menus. If you wanted a more affordable Fortnum afternoon tea they do have a store in the Royal Exchange and this is cheaper but not bottomless. I have my royal exchange afternoon tea if you wanted to check that out.

I did like that aspects of the afternoon tea (like the Harrods one) is bottomless and I found the staff excellent with the time of customer service you expect from these types of establishments. I think Harrods new afternoon tea location has also improved.

I’m not familiar with the flats and didn’t stay in the hotel but have previously had work related meetings in the hotel. I’ve always found the staff to be lovely.

It’s been lovely to try out the festive take on afternoon teas. There is something quite cosy about it, especially during winter months in the UK. 🇬🇧

I do like the Harrods departments and will be doing other sections of the store next year. I do always end up in the Harrods food halls though as I can’t resist the lovely grab and go bites. 😋

That’s useful to know what you purchased and what you enjoyed. I do love M&S food. 😋 I might just pop out and grab a few things to snack on now. 🤗
