  • Thanks for growing with us!
When we think of specialty evergreens, we immediately think of Iseli Nursery. Whenever we see their triangle shaped plant tag on at the garden center we know that we are looking at a very unique specimen. ‪@iselinursery5169‬ have developed some of the most interesting trees and dwarf evergreens and being able to plant eight varieties in our garden is amazing!
As we plant we are adding a good amount of the Penobscot Planting Blend from ‪@Coastofmaine‬ It provides the rich and diverse amendments that your plants need. Formulated from compost, aged bark, oyster shell and mycorrhizae.
We are also trying out a new retractable hose reel by VEGO Watering. Follow the link below and use this code for a discount! GROWFORMEGARDENING10%OFF

Good morning Eric and Christopher fantastic additions, perfect for your beautiful garden, I adore Iseli Nursery and the specimens they have, always in awe with your garden and both of you, happy gardening for the rest of the week. This is possibly one of the busiest weeks at the Nursery, so busy, so much coming in and the weather here in Northern Va has been lousy, some very hot days and rain, we needed the rain though, no rain in April that counted.

I think you should do some judicious pruning on the 'Wabi Sabi' maple. The lower branches need to be removed. If you look at the Iseli picture, you will see that it has been pruned so that the branches are off the ground. Not only will it prevent disease from developing on the leaves, it will give your maple a shape that is in greater contrast to the plants around it. Your garden looks great.
