Greetings from Ireland, The new stone planters are beautiful, They are the bees knees. We have a small front garden with four flower beds, fifty two pots of perennial flowers and six small pots of annual flowers for the two window sills. My wife has no interest in gardening and tells me that the place looks like a mini garden centre. I love clay and glazed pots but I have promised my wife I wont buy any more pots.

It's 'excelsior' that padded your deliveries. EDIT: PW states on their site that this isn't a 'short' climber Rose - rather its height can be as tall as 80 - 96 Inches and width of 2' - 4'. I think you're either going to constantly be pruning them or moving them..

I have lawn envy. Everyone in my neighborhood is having lawn issues. Grubs mostly, but I suddenly have a good invasion of creeping Charlie that I've been digging out before they bloom. Violets, dandelions and quack grass I've dealt with for decades. First mow of the season happened last night. Now I can continue spreading grass seed.
The planters are exquisite. The Lilac Roses will be gorgeous. This was a lot of sweat equity! I look forward to what they look like later in the season.😊

Our native soil is pretty awful. Those are all the newly dug edges, a few years of compost as mulch and the drainage gets much better
