What a beautiful garden! Love the pathways with the large boulders. And WOW. All the wonderful textures and colors of the trees and shrubs. Conifers!!!
i dont think i can grow a single conifer from this place in my zone 10a (ca) garden . But its so beautiful, i cant wait to watch more content from your trip to Iseli
I cannot wait to see the other videos to come! I only have one nursery near me that carries Iseli products and have bought every single one to trial in my space in SoCal. BTW, I did mute the music and instead blasted the main theme to Star Wars, a totally different effect for sure :). Thanks for all your videos.
I honestly would have expected a garden that is 90% evergreen trees and shrubs to be dull or dreary. But wow! So much variety of form, texture, color, size... Just gorgeous.
I've been watching and learning for about a year now. This is the first time I've just been compelled to comment. This is probably the most beautiful garden I've ever seen. And the music, it's a perfect pairing. Thanks so much to both of you for all you share. Makes it a wonderful experience for so many ! ❤
Wow, Wow, WOW! "Spectacular" doesn't come close to describing the beauty of this place. Thanks so much for giving us a glimpse and it's neat to see where some of our shrubs come from. I'm looking forward to the other videos from Iseli that you mentioned. It truly looks like you are having a marvelous trip.
I have been watching the Iseli videos and feel I know and love every single plant there. Such wonderful specimens and great shapes. You can't live there cos I am going to, in my dreams. Thanks.
I have lived in the Pacific Northwest for more than 20 years and I think every evergreen sold in nurseries here started out at Iseli. It’s definitely a well known, and respected, source here.
This is a 'must go' nursery on my list! It inspired me to add many conifers to our garden. The combination of Japanese maples and conifers is breathtaking. Thanks for sharing this video!
Welcome to the Willamette Valley! Even those of us who live here need a reminder to use more evergreens, particularly at this time of year, when we're losing all our color and it's about to become very dreary.
So beautiful it is almost overwhelming. I look forward to the videos that talk about the plants. I saw several that I wondered, "What is that?" Thank you another inspirational video. Wowser.
I love it when landscapers, (and in this case the nursery) plants out their specialty, in a garden designed to last. Also as a certified Aquascape contractor, that stone work is prettty killer.
No flowers, you radical, you! What a beautiful place. When I worked in retail and folks came in looking for interesting evergreens, my description of so many Islei trees started with the words "this one is so cool!" And despite my enthusiasm, they sold like crazy
Eye candy! I’m surrounded by conifers in eastern WA, but all I really see are giant trunks. 🤣 Looking forward to seeing varieties that will top out under 15’ - in my lifetime anyway.
I loved this garden. Wish I could grow more of the colorful evergreens in my 7b north Alabama garden. I not only have the heat and humidity but also a LOT of shade.
Thank you for featuring, my husband I run a Nursery in Va and we enjoyed visiting Iseli Nursery, the plant material is amazing, gorgeous and interesting. I will watch this many times!
I love how they strategically narrowed the walking path and the many curves and turns makes you get up close and personal with the evergreens/ conifers and makes the small space feel big because you can plant more on curves than a straight line. Its like walking through a forest maze of conifers. I am amazed at how colorful the garden is. Now if they dot the garden bed with some perennials/ annuals, it will be color explosion!
I am so grateful that you have taken the time to come out to the Pacific Northwest! I have parishioners in my parishes who work for the different nurseries around here including Iseli. Thank you for sharing this! I truly enjoy your wisdom and insights in gardening.
I'd love to move to the PNW some day but it's seemingly so expensive (at least where most of the jobs are). Arguably the region with the most natural beauty, however.
This is cinematic! I am never disappointed in any of your content. It is always so amazing and much better than anything I have ever seen on youtube....but, this is spectacular...everything about it, the cinematography and your choice of music brought tears to my eyes. This is something I will watch over and over....
I keep referencing new Iseli Nursery videos over the years to check on some more mature specimens of the same conifers I have in my own garden. It's fantastic to dream about what my own conifers will look like in 10 or 20 years and beyond. Thank you for the tour.
I agree with you, Jim. I think that is probably the most beautiful garden I have ever seen and I've seen a lot. I epecially love the way the stone retaining walls and boulders are placed to hold the berms. The colors of the different shrubs and trees are just outstanding! I'm sure you'll be talking more about this nursery. Hope you're enjoying your trip out there. It just got cold here in VA Z 7a!
To each his own….I personally loved this! We are traveling vicariously via Jim and Steph! Thanks for the beautiful trip, I love the music, just a beak from our usual education from Jim❤😊
I love the use of the amber colored mulch! I used to use darker hardwood mulch in my backyard garden and was always fighting the white pine needles that fell onto it. I decided one day to embrace the white pine needles and use mulch that blends in color with it. Pine needles are a great free mulch. Cedar or cypress mulch, although more expensive, lasts 3x longer in my estimation, making it a better investment of time and money. Thanks Jim and Steph for the beautiful escape into a dream garden! Something about conifers feels so eternal.
Gorgeous garden thanks to youtube i am sitting in my london home and watching this beauty. Thanks who made this video such a beautiful videography. I enjoyed it by the way watching this once is not enough. Love it 😍
What a beautiful predominately evergreen garden! It's amazing just how much color is there! I wanted to grow so many of the shrubs and trees I saw but then I stopped to realize all the plants down my way that I would have to give up! We gardeners are often jealous of those in different areas. This garden is in zone 8b and my garden is too, except I am in the Florida panhandle. Even though I have gardened for many, many years in the deep South, I barely can name most of the evergreens grown there. This is why new gardeners living in zone 8b have to distinguish which plants are suitable for the area where they live. It would be nice if plants were also labeled for a "heat zone". Jim, another beautiful garden tour video published very regularly on their RUclips channel is Chanticleer Gardens in Wayne, PA. If anyone is not familiar with their tours, I highly recommend them. No dialogue, just tours of the gardens accompanied by music like this one.
There are more videos coming from this garden talking about the plants. Thanks for watching!
Wow! Wonderful video. Looking forward to your commentary in future videos of Iseli Nursery.
Can't wait to see what those plants' names are. Thank you ❤
What a beautiful garden! Love the pathways with the large boulders. And WOW. All the wonderful textures and colors of the trees and shrubs. Conifers!!!

I just finished the entire video. I would be so excited to walk these pathways i would probably cry. Stunning beyond my imagination.
Incredible texture! Winter interest galore!
Aw! You were in my neck of the woods! Isn’t Oregon beautiful this time of the year?? We’ve had a glorious fall. ❤
Love, Love, Love this video! Thank you so much for recording it.
Thank you Jim! Best Christmas present ever! Love this garden and it is on my bucket list to visit. Brought tears to my eyes it was so beautiful! ❤
Loving all the different textures. This is absolutely beautiful! Wow, loving cousin It 😀 Really enjoyed this tour HortTube man 🌳🌳🌳🐕
So Beautiful! All that color and not a flower anywhere--just shows how beautiful green is!
I caught some browned Sedum heads but yeah. My best friend says, green is my favorite color, all of them 😂
Last week Iseli Nursery posted their own video tour with names of specific plants they featured. Truly a magical place and not "Boring" at all. 😆
Wow! And everyone rends to think you have to have flowers in a garden to have color and interest.
Amazing place! Did anyone else think “I need to believe the tag” after seeing the heights of these trees/shrubs? 😂
Any chance you will stop by Laura's place on your tour? It would be great to see you two together. You both have been such great inspirations.
Good suggestion. I agree.
FABULOUS❤❤❤❤
I honestly would have expected a garden that is 90% evergreen trees and shrubs to be dull or dreary. But wow! So much variety of form, texture, color, size... Just gorgeous.
Man, I could watch this every day just for relaxation. Fantastic! I just love evergreen trees. I have started my own collection I have 30 so far.
Good for you!🌲🌳🍁
Iseli Nursery is evergreen heaven! Please just compost me there when my time comes 😂
This is my local nursery’s favorite nursery.
Iseli tour by Jim was long due .. 😊
Is this Heaven? What a stunning place!!
If you’re in Oregon I hope you make it to Laura & Aaron’s magical land.
I've been watching and learning for about a year now. This is the first time I've just been compelled to comment. This is probably the most beautiful garden I've ever seen. I agree - did not mute the music!
Jim has a great musical ear, never had I need to mute the tunes
24:08 I wish I had this view as wallpaper or a giant painting in my home. 🌸🐝
I spotted a Schnauzer at 10:58 !! 😆
After seeing videos of this garden I’ve a new appreciation for evergreens and I’m incorporating more in my garden. Just breathtaking!
Wow, Wow, WOW! "Spectacular" doesn't come close to describing the beauty of this place. Thanks so much for giving us a glimpse and it's neat to see where some of our shrubs come from. My conifer envy is off the charts!

I love Iseli Nursery!!!!!! I want everything
This is a 'must go' nursery on my list! It inspired me to add many conifers to our garden. The combination of Japanese maples and conifers is breathtaking. Thanks for sharing this video!
Beautiful place & nice to see it after hearing Laura mention her parents nursery gets plants from there!
Well, Oregon must have the best soil & climate there is for growing conifers…never seen anything like it!
The beauty and tranquility in this garden makes me cry real tears. I've never seen anything like it. Thank you Stephany and Jim ❤
Brought tears to my eyes too
An exquisite tapestry of plants. A true gardener's garden. Thanks for sharing 🌲
What an absolute riot of color! Thank you so much for sharing an extensive tour of this heaven on earth!
Wow, all those beautiful shades of green, blue and chartreuse! 🌲
Welcome to the Willamette Valley! Even those of us who live here need a reminder to use more evergreens, particularly at this time of year, when we're losing all our color and it's about to become very dreary.

Thank you Jim and Stephanie for taking us along on your adventures. This is so Stunning and pristine! The blue conifers are unreal with there colors.
Every piece is so perfect it's unreal!! I love it all. But, as far as living there I would love to live in Tom's and Ram's 😊
Looks like heaven to me, awesome specimens, even the small conifers were big, this garden must be 75 years old!
Woooooow it's just breathtaking! And peaceful. Loved this silent tour along with the lovely music..glad you are all having a great trip!
Wow, that is my dream garden
Thank you for featuring, my husband I run a Nursery in Va and we enjoyed visiting Iseli Nursery, the plant material is amazing, gorgeous and interesting. I will watch this many times!
Just beautiful! Makes me wish I had a bigger yard so I could plant more conifers.
Unbelievable! Such beauty and fruits of years of hard work of creating new conifers. Jim thank you for bringing this to us.
Oh. My. Word. I can't even think of a word. Thank You for this beautiful video. 😭😭😭
I am so grateful that you have taken the time to come out to the Pacific Northwest! I have parishioners in my parishes who work for the different nurseries around here including Iseli. Thank you for sharing this! I truly enjoy your wisdom and insights in gardening.
I wholeheartedly agree! They are amazing!
I'd love to move to the PNW some day but it's seemingly so expensive (at least where most of the jobs are). Arguably the region with the most natural beauty, however.
Not a bad little garden. Could use a few more conifers. 😊

Best Iseli video yet. Thank you, Jim.
Stunning display garden. Would have loved to have a bench or two to sit on and enjoy all of it. Thanks for sharing
I agree, I would love to live there. Very beautiful and serene. Thank you , for such a comprehensive tour of the Iseli garden.
I keep referencing new Iseli Nursery videos over the years to check on some more mature specimens of the same conifers I have in my own garden. It's fantastic to dream about what my own conifers will look like in 10 or 20 years and beyond. Thank you for the tour.
Wow, I wish these gardens were open to the public. Thank you for the tour.
Amazing garden, so many beautiful colours….thank you. All the best from the UK 🇬🇧🇬🇧
Ha! All I needed to see was the overhead view to know which garden this is. A favorite for sure!
Your timing was perfect, rainy season starts November 1.
So glad that u used the “ happy mandolins” music too- and nice to see full grown specimens! !🌿🎃🌿
We lived on the McKenzie river in Oregon before moving to arkansas. It was a brutal change. And to top it off…..chiggers!
What a breathtaking garden! I need to watch this again and take notes. ❤
It's too gorgeous. This makes San Antonio look like a wasteland. 😢 Thanks for sharing this beautiful space.
Oh my goodness, you are getting closer and closer to Laura's town from Garden Answer!!!!! My fingers are crossed for a video from you two!
The word perfectionist!
Just so incredibly gorgeous!❤❤❤
I agree with you, Jim. I think that is probably the most beautiful garden I have ever seen and I've seen a lot. I hope Heaven has gardens like this 🥰
Iseli Nursery has amazing conifers. I’d love to visit this garden some day. In the meantime, I’ll just buy their plants
This is my absolute dream garden. I only wish more garden centers in my area carried more conifers!
To each his own….I personally loved this! We are traveling vicariously via Jim and Steph! Thanks for the beautiful trip, I love the music, just a beak from our usual education from Jim❤😊
Wow that is incredible. The wind shelter and low growing and cloud pruned plants are of a personal interest. Thank you for sharing. 🌲🍂
I am fortunate to own several " living art" conifers from Iseli !!
My favorite are the weeping Norway's and that massive orientalis
Love this beautiful even green garden!
Wow! Absolutely beautiful and loved the music. Thank you!
It's okay I suppose. Actually, it's flipping amazing. I have a small border and looking for ideas, this has it spades. Just fantastic

Wow! So much interest and textures.
I want to live there too!! Beautiful!!
Love this very different kind of tour even though I'm in the southeast. Love the music, as well!

Your channel is my favorite
I miss Oregon
Such beauty and perfection brings tears to my eyes. 😍
