Yes, Overclock mode with health upgrades and Biomonitor is the way to go for early and midgame. This build idea requires the Quantum Tuner, which you only can get after the Phantom Liberty story, so it's more an endgame strategy. You can use it as alternative to Overclock mode or combine both for even more hacking.
@@davidgibson3481 You get the Quantum Tuner after you helped Songbird escape to the moon. She will contact you after this ending and you get the location where you can pick up the Quantum Tuner cyberware. If you choose a different ending you don't get it. Regarding total RAM you want 20 Intelligence, Ex-Disk, RAM Reallocator, Smart Link and a fully upgraded Tetratronic Rippler. The Cyberdeck alone adds 16 RAM if I remember this correctly.
@@crazy-tommy I've only played it through once, however I got the ending where Reed takes Songbird off of you at the 'airport'. Probably should have killed Reed ..
I’m so glad I started another playthru as a nomad, I’m either gonna be the fastest quick hacker in the west, or even better than David with the apogee😂
@@crazy-tommyno there's no cooldown if you time RAM Reallocator's refill. You can get refill after refill in one scan and if timed right you won't trigger it's cooldown when you release scan. You can do hack a while camp in one go and come out with near if not max RAM and RAM Reallocator ready to go.
Do you think this combo is worth giving up COX-2? I feel like it is, since truly infinite ram can offset the loss of crit damage. Plus the knockout combo doesn’t care about crits
Yes with the knockout combo you don't need crits, also COX-2 is counter productive as it reduces your RAM and probably takes too much cyberware capacity to fit it in. This playstyle is nice for 95% of the game, but you might have to adapt for scripted boss fights where you can't use the knockout combo. But you can try to find a combo that can support both playstyles. If you want to go for damage with crits then stacking health/healing and using Overclock mode might be better.
@@crazy-tommy ruclips.net/video/C2KucBAam80/видео.html yeah I cleared out this Barghest camp pretty casually with this, but I could see boss enemies being tougher. I tried MaxTac and it wasn’t easy.
@@NOLA_ftw Nice. If you use the knockout combo as your main thing it's probably worth to change your quickhack order (less scrolling). I just loaded up my old save file and recorded my character stats. The important parts match with your build, but cyberware and stat distribution is a bit different: ruclips.net/video/uO2ervEyFiE/видео.html
This is some math optimization level shit. I usually just pump all my points into HP regen and use overclock

@@crazy-tommywhere on earth do you get that?! Just completed Phantom. How is your Ram nodules so high? That's next level stuff

it even works without quantum tuner
Yes, just with a small cooldown in between. The Quantum tuner lets you elimate the cooldown for a limited time.

@@crazy-tommy Good point, I was just too lazy to reorder my hacks.
